Note: This was a replacement to a different Graco Snugride that expired. My baby is on the chunkier side and only 5 months old.
Size: After checking out other models, I realized this was the only Graco car seat that wasn't too narrow and one that my baby could comfortably move and grow with. All the other models seemed to be too narrow and uncomfortable--wearing regular clothes. If I put my baby in a thick jacket, I don't think he would have been able to move. Other reviewers mentioned that this model was heavier and wider in general (making it hard to fit in restaurants that have booth-style seating) and I agree.
Features: It a tad harder to take the carseat on and off the car base than my older Graco Snugride. I love the 5-point, front-adjust harness feature where I can loosen and tighten the harness so easily (compared to or our old Snugride where you could only loosen/tighten in the back! The buckles on the harness is a little hard to open but it's something I can live with.
Design: Love the print--It's gender neutral and not boring or too "loud". The material is half faux suede, half polyester(?) making it feel "cool" and "warm". Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. I wanted something my child would be safe and comfortable being in and I believe this meets that requirement. There can definitley be some improvements but for what was out there in the market (that was compatible with our stroller base and other carseat accessories), I think we found our match. I recommend that others do their own product comparisions because what's important and "tolerable" for me, may not be for you.

I used this carseat with my now almost 3 year old and am planning on using it with my second (due in June). Not sure about the difficulties that others have listed. The base was a little hard to install, but since you don't take the base out every time you take the child out, I don't see why that should be an issue. We did buy multiple bases since we had two cars. The first few uses, the release latch was a little stiff and it did take a few pulls to release the seat, but it was fine after that. It lasted until my daughter was about 7 months (she's a BIG kid) and we just took it out of storage and it still looks practically new.

We got this seat for my (now) 8 month old and we LOVE it. It is heavier than other seats, but it lasts forever. My son is no where near the height or weight limits and while we don't really lug him around in it, it's nice that if he's asleep we can just take the whole seat out of the car and click it into our stroller (it has a graco adapter). There is literally not one thing I would change about this seat.

This car seat is extremely heavy, hard to buckle (my son cries everytime I buckle him in) and does not allow for easy install into and out of the car. Sometimes it takes several tries to pull the seat out of the base. There is really nothing I like about this car seat.

I usually never write these things but this one issue ruined the car seat for me. The hood/umbrella will not stay in place and usually gets in the way. If the hood doesn't matter then this is a great car seat. I gave it three stars because everything else about it is great.

We registered for this carseat after alot of research. We received it as a gift. It is very secure and we feel safe putting our son in it. The only down side is the buckle can be difficult to snap. Other than that, no complaints.
