We love this carseat. Our 7 month son weighs too much for the infant carseat so we purchased this and it's perfect for him! It looks very comfortable for him, he still falls asleep in it, it has double cup holders which will come in handy when he's older. We have an SUV so it fits perfect, but it is a bigger car seat so if you have a smaller car it could be quite cramped.

AFTER MONTHS OF RESEARCH FOR THE BEST CAR SEAT WITHOUT BREAKING THE BANK, I FOUND THIS ONE. I HAVE BEEN USING SINCE MY SON WAS 8 MONTHS OLD, AND HE IS NOW 2 YEARS OLD. HE IS VERY COMFORTABLE IN THE SEAT AND IT IS EASY TO ADJUST WHEN EVERY TIME HE GROWS A BIT. THE CUP HOLDERS ARE VERY NICE. MY HUSBANDS ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT IT IS WAY TOO BIG. I AM NOW RESEARCHING FOR A CAR SEAT ONCE AGAIN FOR THE BEST PRODUCT OUT THERE FOR MY 4 1/2 MONTH OLD. SO FAR I CAN NOT FIND ANYTHING BETTER THAN WHAT I ALREADY HAVE.

well i have a humongous 7 month old daughter who was seriously squished in her infant carseat so we decided to upgrade and i wanted one that would last for a while. this one defintely seems worth the money. itll last im thinking way into her 3rd or 4th year. its super comfy (she falls asleep in it everytime) the only downers are that its super big. we drive a mini van so theres plenty of room but when i look back i cant see her at all so that makes me nervous. i would defintely recommend not tryint to put this car seat into anything less than a minivan or suv if its going to be rear facing

We have a 5 1/2 month old and have used this product for about a month. We have three of them (mom, dad, and grandpa). So far, our daughter loves this seat! We no longer have crying getting in or out or on longer rides. She seems very content with this seat. My only complaint is that the cup holders and metal parts of the seat belt get very warm when the car is not in use. When we put her back in, we are always concerned it will be too uncomfortable for her, but so far, it has been okay.We are going to put a blanket over them when she leaves the seat and see if that helps.

I love this car seat, my son has been in it since the day he came home from the hospital. When we had it inspected at the fire station they said it was one of the best they see. The baby is very comfortable in it and we have taken several long trips already. The only thing that I could say negatively about this seat is its size. I know convertible car seats are big, especially rear-facing and in the recline position but I can't get this one to fit in my Jeep Liberty without the front seat being all the way up. It is too wide to go in the middle (the front seats get in the way and I can't move the driver's seat up anymore or it will be unsafe for me) I would love to buy another one for my car when he outgrows the snugride 30 I have now but unless I get a new car I don't think we can. We currently have this seat in my husband's mazda 6 in the middle without any trouble so as long as you have a car that will fit it nicely it is worth a 5! I also love knowing that this seat should fit him for many many years and we won't need to buy another one at all :) Oh, and one more negative, if I had to pick one is that the seat needs to be uninstalled in order to move the straps and we have a weed over here that has already needed his straps moved up twice in 3 months

Made the bump up to this car seat at the 10 month mark for our daughter primarily due to her growth. She hit 30 inches quickly, and the first ones we had maxed out there. Sticking with rear-facing for another year or so, the MyRide 65 LX has very good reviews. Will last us a while in terms of her height and weight.

Arrives fully assembled. Just need to adjust strap height for your child.

Considering the size of it, it isn't terribly heavy.

We bought two: Sonata is same model, just different color/design on fabric. Installing with LATCH system - in most current vehicles - can be challenging once you make the belt as tight as possible for a secure fit. When you have to remove the seat, and that strap is as tight as possible on the car's LATCH hooks, it is a bit tricky to get the two clasps undone. That snug fit is great for the safety of the child, which is what matters.

Our other vehicle is older, without the LATCH hooks. So just the shoulder strap secures the car seat into place. Obviously, it is much easier to install and remove when necessary, but the seat doesn't feel completely snug, i.e., it rocks a little.

As warned in the accompanying booklet, in extreme heat (as is currently!), the plastic cupholders on the sides do get got, and the plastic on the chest strap also absorbs heat. While it may not be possible to always remove the car seat due its size, we have found so far that covering the parts that may get hot with a towel or baby blanket will help avoid a serious burn to your little one.

Can't address durability yet, as we have only had the two in place for a few weeks. Our daughter does seem very comfortable in them, and sleeps easily. No severe angles, forced head-tilts (to side or chin on chest) or obvious discomfort caused by the seats.

My son loves to get out the car seat. But with this one its not easy for him to pull his arms out of the straps. And very easy to get him in and out of it. Only took 5 minutes to install. one of the best car seats I found yet.
