I have read the reviews and was surprised that not everyone gave it a 5 star rating. We are so blessed to have received this as a gift! After our daughter was brought home we did not use a bassinet...we used the Mamaroo. Her transition from sleeping on my chest to the mamaroo was amazing. The mamaroo's motions mimic's the way I move and soothed our daughter to sleep! The different recline positions are great too. IF she has trouble burping late at night, then we place the mamaroo in the upright position. This will allow her to burp while sleeping. We have now transitioned her to the crib but we still use the mamaroo for nap time. She is now 4mths old. She does not want to take a nap in the crib so we put her in the mamaroo. She falls right to sleep!

I love this swing.When my baby sleep in my lap I put her in Mamaroo an she sleeps foe 1 or 2 hours. I have all kind swing but this is the best for newborns.

Our baby wouldn't stay in the bouncer or swing for more than a few minutes and rocking her for 2 hours till the next feeding wasnt an option. This is a real life saver. The different sounds and motions keep her entertained till she falls asleep, and then keep her cozy through her naps. We've used it as her nightly sleeper next to our bed. You can move the seat to a more up-right position which is great for when they're a few months older. The motor is a bit loud and the light on the screen is pretty bright for nightime use, but it is not unbearable. I agree that it could stand to be a bit longer. Overall, it's a great product and a real must-have for the busy parent.

This product is wonderful. My 4 month old daughter loves it. The different movement settings give us alot of variety based on her mood. The intensity feature is great because if she is falling asleep we can slow the motion down to make it more relaxing. The sounds that the mamaRoo plays are a nice touch. While she had a little cold, she even slept in the mamaRoo a couple nights because it was so comfortable and kept her upright.

I would say the only thing about the seat that I was a little disappointed with was the sound of the motor when running. The motor sometimes can be a little loud and occasionally clicks. However, this is only a minor issue. It is not so loud that it is annoying or inhibits my daughters ability to fall asleep.

Overall this product has been worth every penny. I'm sure we will be using it for as long as possible.

My son has horrible reflux and he never sleeps more that around 2 hours at a time. I have tried several items but nothing has really helped. We went out shopping with no intent on buying this. My husband said we should try it. Me personally i didnt think it was nearly worth the price tag. But i must say... it was. He has been peacefully sleeping for a full week now. Sleeping around 6 hours straight at night and taking naps in the day which he never did before. Couldnt be happier!

We received this as a gift and at first, wasn't sure if we would need it since we had the Snugabunny swing and bouncer, but it has been a great "marriage" of the two! It has the portability of the bouncer and the motion of the swing that keeps my baby entertained and allows me to make dinner, shower, etc.. I was going to give it 3 stars because I thought the original price (almost $250) was absurd (I would NEVER have paid that much for it) but I see that it is now under $200 which I find much more reasonable. Only issue I have is that our 5month old is very long and her feet are starting to hang outside of the mamaroo, which will force us to discontinue use.

We love this product. We didn't know it existed until my sister surprised us with one. Our daughter (8 weeks old) loves sitting in the Mamaroo. It's so soothing, that she will even dose off for a nap in it. Our daughter also loves the variety of settings. We'd highly recommend this product. It's well worth the price.

This is fhe best swing/bouncer/general purchase my husband and i have made so far. We jokinly say we would trade our ipads for this in a hold-up. My baby sleeps in this every night, we jist plop im in and start kangaroo or tree bounce And he is out for a solid 7 + hours. We refer to it as his bouncy house or the "babysitter" and i honestly cannot imagine life without this brilliant Addition to my livingroom.
