The Fisher-Price Imaginext Gotham City Playset features the Joker and Bruce Wayne with his helmet and cape. The Joker hideout is under the Gotham Bank with a blast through wall that he can use to break into Wayne tower With fold out side steps the Joker can get up to the front of the bank where he can use the disc to either blow the side of the bank open or open the front door and walk right in. The center tower features an elevator activated by the right hand turn disc when you raise it to the top the figure pops out of hidden doors of the tower and the shutters on the window close revealing a Bat symbol. Batman can jump over to the top left tower and use the projectile launcher to stop The Joker and take him to the police station and put him in the holding cell. In the basement of Wayne Tower, Batman has a garage to store the Batmobile in and a place to hold his helmet and cape. Comes with projectile launcher, Bruce Wayne, Helmet and Cape to make him Batman, The Joker, Projectile launcher with projectile, playset with fold out stairs two figure activations (bank wall and door, elevator with Bat symbol shutters) and pop through wall into Wayne tower.

    My son simply loves the Bruce Wayne being able to become Batman concept that came with this set. The City is not all that elaborate in comparison to the Batcave for the same $$ , but as with all of the Imaginext stuff I've purchased it is well made and nice in appearance. He love all three of the Batman pieces I've purchased and spends hours playing with them so I would put it on the short list of toys that were worth the money in our household.

    I am a toy collector and my son plays with toys, so I think we make a great pair when it comes to reviews. My son has this along with the Gotham city jail and the bat cave. This Gotham city is the worst of the three by far. It is not horrible, it is just that both my son and I like the other two better. I am afraid the lift/elevator on this one will break. Other fisher price toys have better mechanisms. There is an oddly placed jail in this set. Considering there is an entire jail playeset it makes me question why? Same with the jokers hideout. It is very small. It has a cool feature where the wall breaks open, but it gets in the way of the elevator. The vault is not great either. We both like the elevator feature but I'm afraid it will break. He loves the batman figure. He transforms from batman to Bruce Wayne.

    I was really happy to learn that Kids could start a registry for birthdays. This was great! My nephew likes anything Batman, so when mom took him to create his wish list, the Gotham City Playset was on it. He loved getting what he wanted and is really enjoying playing with the set.

        My 3 yr old son opened this first on Christmas and that was it he didn't want to open anything else. He loves this toy and all it has to it. He also got the bat cave and jail and loves the whole set!!

              My 4-year-old son likes this, but mostly because he loves the Bruce Wayne figure. He plays with the Batcave much more than with this. The bank-robbery action is too hard for him to understand, and the elevator is harder to use than the one in the Batcave.

              Bottom line: If your kid loves the Batcave, this is a good second Imaginext playset, but if you don't have a Batcave, get that instead.

              Second bottom line: Imaginext should sell the Bruce Wayne figure separately!

                A great addition to Superhero line

                My son received the original Imaginext Batcave when he was 3; he is now 5 and is still adding to his collection! This line continues to be one of his favorite things to play with. He recently received the Gotham City and we were both excited to see that it came with a Bruce Wayne and a cape/mask that turns him into Batman! The City is just what you would expect from Imaginext, with lots of hidden doors, elevators, and shooters. And as always Imaginext delivers on quality. My son can be pretty rough and his Imaginext toys hold up better than any others! A great addition to your collection or a great place to start for a Superhero fan!

                Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
