      This is the second batch of Just Us League figures, the first being released several years ago. Comparing the two I would say the first line was better. The packaging was nicer and the figures all had some type of accessories. The new figures however have better painting details. I would have to guess this new line is marketed towards the comic book collector who might not be a MAD collector. The new line figures are painted to look more like there comic book counterparts.

      All said and done, these are very nice if the price doesn't keep you away.

      These are from the second line of Just Us League figures. There was a first line put out several years ago. The first set was much better as the packaging was nicer, there were "accessories" with each figure, and I do believe they were less expensive initially.

      This new set must be marketed to try and get people who maybe aren't Mad fans, but are comic fans to buy the figures based on liking comics related action figures. It seems that DC is trying to make a more serious (if you can consider an action figure based on Alfred E. Neuman serious)action figures that are more comics related than MAD related. For instance, the new Batman has the black and grey costume as opposed to the original blue and grey suit. On the first series the Batman figure has funny items on his utility built and on the new one they are gone.

      All said and done these are very nicely crafted toys. But they are just not as cool as the first series which had better packaging as well as extra accessories.

          Product was great.... arrived damaged.
          Bubble pac covering figures came off card.
          As a collector, it's a big deal. If you're going to open, no big deal.
