The RECARO ProRIDE is a premium Convertible seat designed to offer your most precious passengers the safety you demand and the comfort they need. Your child will ride in comfort and optimal safety with this convertible car seat. The Side Impact Protection is designed to distinctly protect five vulnerable areas of a child - head, neck, face, pelvis and torso. The easy adjust, soft touch head restraint is padded with real automotive "PUR" foam and positions easily with the turn of a knob. Also features an easy-to-adjust five-point harness, cool mesh air ventilation and a lock-off mechanism that locks the vehicle seat belt in the belt path for optimum safety in the forward facing position. Other features include push button LATCH system with LATCH storage, harness storage pockets, a universal top tether system and a rear-facing recline lever. Real automotive "PUR" comfort foam in the seat provides luxury comfort for your little one. Also included is the RECARO Safety Stripe System - a racing-inspired white stripe that will be clearly visible on the outside edge of the 5-point harness. This stripe is designed to alert a parent that a twist could occur, or has begun, thus preventing a safety hazard. Seat measures 27" to 29" H x 19" W x 11" D. 70-pound weight capacity. Love love LOVE the Recaro convertible carseat! This carseat grows with your child. Adjustable head rest that isn't a click to size. This one you can roll it to the perfect height to fit you baby/child. There are side impact cushions everywhere. It's sturdy and strong unlike those cheaper plastic carseats. 5 point harness that is adjustable to you growing baby/child. Slim fit so its not bulky in your car, especially if you have multiple children and carseats/booster seats.

What more can out ask for when Recaro specializes in making race car seats. Stylish, sporty, streamline, slim, sturdy.

Only con is that it stays in your car, not a carrier and its heavy.

This carseat was a blessing. We have been using this with our first child and love it. The seat was very easy to install and to get our child in and out of. As you know kids are messy and it was very easy to clean, just wipe it down it water. We like it so much we have purchased a second one for the grandparents to keep and use! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a carset for their child!

I used this product with my first child and it was amazing. It is extremely easy to get my child in and out of the car. He loves it! Every time I put him in the car he falls right asleep. I first fell in love with the seat because it was so highly recommended in safety and performance. I also love how stylish it is! I would recommend this to anyone and everyone!

Great product, very sturdy and safe. I have this seat in our Grand Cherokee and have no problems with space. It is a little hard to get our son in while rear facing but that is because the seat bolsters are high. I perfer safety over convience, and once it is foward facing I don't see any problems. The knob adjustments for harness are simple to use, making this one easier then the Euro version.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

It has been a while since we needed a car seat and the improvements were amazing. I remember how much wrestling used to be necessary to safely install a seat. The Recaro locking seatbelt adjust system makes it SO EASY! The 5 point harness is simple to adjust - convenient and safe. This seat is a great example of German engineering applied to a car seat. My little guy loved it from the very first ride. Great job Recaro!!!

My advice is to save all the time and hassle of looking at all the different car seat brands and go right to a Recaro. Quality engineering, stylish design, great value.

Pros: Fits in rear center seat. Quality material. Safety rating is great. Works well and fits in our Jeep. Easy to strap our baby in quick to get comfortable. In the top rated car seats on [@]. Box is a fun toy to make a play house :)Cons: Sits high in our car and have to be careful getting my baby into it so I don't hit his head...but with other car seats, when rear facing seems like the same issue.
