I love this swing the car seat is great, it swings good and it lays back just enough to keep her comfy. I went though three swing before this one all different brands and she hated all but one swing which was like this one but was battery op. it also broke thats why we were trying different one's and she hated all of them until we tried this one omg what a life saver she sleeps in it for hrs. i would recomend this one to anyone.

My little guy is about 17 pounds and is only 5 months old, so having a swing is a big help. He loves to take his naps in the swing. We had a battery operated swing and we just went though the batteries like crazy. I liked this one because it was similiar to the old one. The swing makes a little bit of a noise, but that gives it character. Plus if my son can sleep through the noise then I have no problem with it. I have also had no problems with the setting or anything else with the swing, it was easy to put together. As of now the swing was a great investment and would buy another one just like this if I had to.

Previously I had the disney convert-me-swing . It turned out to be a disaster. So after researching and researching I came across this swing. My baby loves her car seat , And the seat on the swing mimics a car seat. She has acid reflux problems and gas, And Is fussy a lot. This swing became my lifesaver she loves it . I'm not sure if it's because it has a strong motor and she likes the speed of the swing, Or that it sways side to side, She will stay in there for up to 40 minutes sleeping or not. The other swing she would not stay in it for even 5 min!! And the plug feature is a must have!! Disregard any negative reviews the swing is great!!!

The swing worked great for exactly one week and then little by little began breaking down. We had to keep increasing the speed level because bit by bit, each level stopped moving the swing. Then the buttons to increase or decrease the speed began to malfunction. We've had this swing less than 2 months and it is completely useless now. In short, this swing is an absolute waste of money.

I looked into A LOT of swings before deciding on this one. What sold me on this swing was the price, brand, and has an ac adapter. My daughter absolutely loves this swing!!!! For me, it was a life saver. My lil one has colic and some nights, she would scream for hours. Since I bought this swing that doesn't happen anymore.

Just bought this for my baby who is about 14 pounds. It goes SO SLOW even on the fastest setting. I thought maybe it was just a bad swing, and we got a messed up motor and we would have to take it and trade it. I took my baby out and sure enough it starts swinging just as fast as can be without her in it. So it would probably swing normal if you have a newborn in it. The weight limit says 25 pounds. SUre, it can hold that much weight, but if it will hardly swing with my 14 pounder I doubt it would even move with a baby bigger than mine. I am very disappointed in this swing. It is cute and will swing 2 ways, but who cares if it doesn't do what it is intended to do? Definitely not worth the money in my opinion:(

Swing worked great til my baby reached 15 pounds, then it would just stop swinging.. I guess it can't handle up to the 25 pounds it says it can.

This is our second Fisher Price cradle n swing. The first one was the zoo themed swing and it was given to us by friends who had used it for their baby. My baby loved this swing! It's the only thing she would nap in for a long period of time. It wasn't even a year old and the motor burnt out on it. It started acting up slowly by making loud clicking noises and the speed of the swing started slowing down until it didn't swing anymore. Although I was disappointed, it was free so no big deal...

Today, I went and bought this new cradle n swing. I get it home and all set up, and the speed settings do not work! It's supposed to adjust to the speed that you want, but all of the settings remain at the same speed (which is pretty slow). I'm very disappointed in the quality of both swings made by Fisher Price! I've always heard very good things about this brand, but I will be returning this new swing and will look into buying a different brand! :(

I had purchased this swing (in the other color) used from a resale shop and loved it because it could rock side to side or front to back. It's the only place I could get my son to take a nap some days. One morning the motor broke so I immediately ran to BabiesRUs to buy the same one. This is the one they had (same swing, different colors, different songs). It isn't as bulky as a lot of swings I've seen and the fact that it can swivel to swing in different directions makes it easy to put it where ever you want. It says it has three spots it can swing in but two of them make the swing go front to back, it just puts the base of the swing on the other side. I really like this swing. Simple, not too expensive but still has the ability to swing two directions. One thing I don't like is that unless the legs are spread in an exactly perfect spot the swing squeaks when it rocks back and forth. I didn't have this problem with the first swing I bought. My son is also getting bigger though (about 15lbs now) so it could just be that he's putting more weight on the swing. Not sure but it got annoying until I found the "perfect spot" and now it doesn't squeak.
