I absolutely love this seat. The harness tightens great, it is really roomy and comfy. We brought my son home from the hospital in it and he is still in it at 15 months! Its great if he's napping so we can just bring him in the store with us. The pattern is very gender neutral but not boring.

I tested many, many stroller systems while I was pregnant. I made my husband come with me as I rolled the different strollers up and down the aisles testing how smooth and sturdy it felt, how easy way it to turn, the fit between racks, the brakes, how easy was it to pop out the carrier, how easy was it to fold down the stroller, how heavy was the carrier, how far did the canopy come down, how far did the stroller seat recline back, etc... I drove my husband crazy! And that was just the first time. I did this about 6 or 7 times!! It's was our first child and out of all the baby items we were buying, to me, this was the most important.
What drew me to this system was the color. Anyone who knows me knows that I am "practical" aka cheap/frugal. We were having a girl and I wanted a system that could also be used if our second child was a son, without being too masculine. The color scheme also matches our house which is brown and blue and green.
Also, I had done my homework and read the online reviews on various sites. So I knew that this was a good brand and got high marks for safety. Finally, on the 8th trip (about 3 weeks before my due date!) we bought the system, installed the base in the car and were ready for baby.
Fast forward 10 months. I love this system. I always feel safe when she's in it. It's always fit her well since the 1st day we brought her home (6 lbs, 13 oz). It has been on numerous car trips and she has no problem napping in it. It has been on 4 plane trips and the matrial has held up well. On shopping trips, it can hold a decent amount of bags underneath. Once I got the hang of it, I could fold the stroller with one hand. Both sets of grandparents learned how to pop the carrier out of the base and fold the stroller down.
For the cons, the carrier was a little heavier than the other ones I tested, but in my mind, heavier and sturdier meant safer, so I was all for it. She's 21 lbs now and her weight plus the carrier can be a workout, but at 21 lbs, I think that any in any carrier, she would feel like that. In reading the reviews, some people mentioned that their child sweated in this particular car seat and I wondered how could a car seat make a baby sweat? Well, my baby does sweat if she's sitting in it for a while and there's no air flow. For example, if she's napping in the carrier in the backseat and the temperature is comfortable so I don't have the A/C on, I've gotten to my destination and she would be sweaty around her head. I don't know if its the material or the side head protectors, but it doesn't happen all the time, and it didn't seems to have anything to do with how hot it was outside.
Lastly, I don't recall seeing this in any of the reviews, but the baby's cup holder on the stroller is between the legs and non-removable. It is pretty thick and I wondered how comfortable the baby would be with her legs that far apart. Also, the leg opening seemed smaller than 2 other brands with the cup holder between the legs. I wondered if I had a baby with chubby legs, would they be squished in there? I do have a pretty good size baby (90% for weight) and she has pretty good size legs. She fits just fine in the stroller and her legs are not too far apart. However, I do wish that the seat on the stroller reclined all the way back for her naps, but when she's really tired, it doesn't bother her.
To summarize, I am super happy with our choice. Since this is our first child, I haven't experienced other brands, but I did test out a few Gracos and Chiccos. I know we got the best one for us and our baby and now that its on sale, I think it's a really super deal!

We used the car seat daily and the stroller when shopping. The car seat is heavy but fits wonderfully in the stroller. You may have to practice the first few times to figure out where it connects with the stroller, but after that it's easy to attach and detach. The material on the sun shade started tearing at the bottom, but I sewed it back together and have had no other problems. The material is cute and easily hides dirt or stains.

The stroller folds and unfolds easily. The wheels won't last long if you use like a jogging stroller on asphault or pavement. Very roomy for babies and toddler but does take up a lot of trunk space. Sufficient storage for diaper bag and purse underneath. I do like that it has adjustable space for cell phones and plenty of cup holders. Brakes work well and it's easy to turn or fit down aisles when shopping.

I would definitely recommend buying a base for each vehicle so you can just attach/detach and go. This made our lives much easier, especially in extreme weather or in a hurry.

You can also buy a pack & play and highchair to match this travel system.

With our first child we purchased a Graco travel system and it did it's job, it was okay. This time around we wanted something a little more sturdy and something that our little one would not outgrow as quickly. We came across the S1 and really liked the idea of the air protect.

The stroller is easy to fold and folds up pretty flat. The car seat is long and takes up a bit of room but that is to be expected. It seems really safe, I compare it to a mini racing seat. My little one was 5 pounds when he left the hospital and he was super snug and secure in it.

Really great travel system! I highly suggest getting this!

I loved the color and that it will hold a baby up to 35lbs. This is why the car seat may be a bit heavier than others, but it's not that heavy. If you want an ultra light car seat then you may want to purchase one that holds babies up to 22 lbs.

The stroller was very easy to put together. There's not that much padding on the stroller seat, and that's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I added blanket and it seems much more comfortable. Overall, I think I made the right purchase.

We purchased this travel system since we were having our first child and wanted a system that would be very safe for him, we are very happy with our decision 9 months later. This product is very comfortable, durable, soft, easy to setup and easy to clean. I just use a wet washcloth or wipes to clean up any mess.

I just go this last week and love the colors. It is more of a graphite gray than brown and light blue. I have used Graco carriers in the past and I liked them, but this one seems way more comfy and safer. I like the gauge on the side that has a level for differetn weight in the car seat. the base is way more advanced than the graco ones. I will not be using this until February but can not wait. The carrier is comparable as far as weight to other carriers. The stroller is nice as well. I bought a graco travel system before and I think the control is way better on this stroller.
