My 4 yr old absolutely LOVES Doc McStuffins, so I was excited to find this toy. It's cute that the different toys each say a phrase (I wish there was more variety in the phrases). Yes, you have to push the toy down all the way to make sure the proper buttons are activated, but that's good for fine motor skills.

Our only disappointment is that Hallie is missing! Hallie the Hippo is the "right hand" to Doc McStuffins on the show. She's a main character in every single episode. Why leave her out??? This is the reason for the 4 star rating.

Cute toy but it needs some improvement!

This prodcut was purchased for my daughter's fourth birthday. I was suprised to learn that several of the characters talk when placed on a heart shaped button on the clinic counter. I didn't read the product description thouroughly when I ordered the item, as I was sure it'd be a hit with my daughter. She is a huge Doc Mcstuffins fan. While she loves the toy and has played with a plenty in the past several days, I am a little disapointed in the product. To make the characters talk, you have to place them on a heart shaped peg on the clinic counter. Then you push a button to left of the character on the counter that makes the character talk. More often than not, when my daughter places the toy on the heart she cannot get the character to speak or the wrong character's voice is played. The heart shaped peg appears to be very sensitive and you have to push down on the characters with a bit of force to make sure it pushes the right buttons/parts to make the right voice come out. My daughter hasn't seemed bothered by it though, she just laughs it off if the wrong voice comes on. Each character only has one phrase though and can get rather annoying after awhile. Lambie says "I need a cuddle", Chilly says "Thanks Doc, you always know how to make me feel better" and Stuffy proclaims "I'm a big brave dragon". One other design flaw I noticed as the Chilly's eyes are red and almost look bloodshot. I'm not sure if this was intentional or not, but there is no way to 'fix him up'. His eys bothered my daughter too, she is always talking about them and wanting to fix them.

If you have a Doc Mcstuffins fan in your house (and judging by the fact that this item was backordered and presells sold out, I'm betting a lot of you do!) then they will love playing with this set. One thing I did like about this toy is Doc's bag opens up and you can place the 4 small parts in the bag so they will not get lost so easily.

People, before you leave negative comments please carefully look at the toy and figure out if it's truly defective. This toy is not defective, however, the toys say different things when placed on the table, but they have to be pushed all the way on to the table. Stuffy and Dragon have tabs on the circle indented on their bottoms. Lamby always works because the toy defaults to Lamby since there are no tabs. Just a warning, I don't have the toy in front of me so I can't comment on how each character's bottom looks like, so I may be wrong on who has tabs or doesn't have tabs. But I looked at how the toy worked when one character wasn't saying their phrase correctly. So you have to make sure the character is firmly pressed on to the table so they say the right things.

My 4 year old daughter loves Doc McStuffin's so when I saw this before Christmas I had to get it for her. Stuffy the dragon is very hard to put on the spot where the characters talk. She usually gets frustrated with it and puts the toy away. I have even had a hard time doing it as well. And when you try Chilly he says what the the dragon is supposed to say. Lambie works fine. Very disappointed with this product.

My son wanted this toy soooo bad Doc Mcstuffins one of his favorite shows so we got it. He loves it and it's pretty cool because you put the differnt toys on the table and they say different things BUT the snowman "chilly" says he's a dragon instead of saying whatever is suppose to be programmed for the snowman..not saure if all of them are like this or we just got a defective one but my son was really confused and keeps asking why is chilly saying hes a dragon? lol

Very Cute, very small pieces. My daughter loves to carry the characters around and puts them in her backpack when we go places. She does not use the checkup table and could care less that it makes sounds. Overall very happy.

I didn't know who Doc McStuffins was. (My daughter is 15) So, I went on a mission. I picked this toy for my 3 year old niece on a whim. It works fine. Sometimes, you have to wiggle the lil' characters onto the table. (If the notches don't fit on right, then they will say the other characters line) Other than that, my niece loves it. She tried to sleep with them in the bed. (My sister didn't appreciate waking up and finding Lamby stuck to her backside. LOL..though this made a good laugh for me!) My niece takes it every where. Just like a lot of toys, she'll love it for a little while then move on to the next. She likes it, I love it!
