Legendary Bouncer stronger than original

My kids love love Skylanders. They can't wait for Christmas so they can play the new Giants game. We have so far been able to collect all the legendary characters (including from Spyro's adventure). The legendary characters have increased critical hit and armor (at least). They are stronger than their original counterparts and look legendary in the game. If you collect, there is no need to buy the legendary version and the original version. As far as completing your collection, the legendary version takes the place of an original regular character. Also, legendaries look "legendary" on the game. Whereas, color variants don't look different in the game. The legendaries don't come preloaded with 2000 gold coins or leveled up like some color variants do. I personally (my kids) prefer legendaries. They accidentally got a regular and a legendary of spyro and they never touched the original spyro from the last game.

Overall, this is a pretty good (and necessary) addition to a Skylanders Giants Collection. This was one of our first giants and was the first one to get all of the upgrades and to level 15.

We haven't, yet, completed the heroic challenges, so we haven't seen his full potential. Yet, we have been overall pleased with this addition.

One aspect that we found rather disappointing was that we were told somethings about the legendary series that we have found to be false (i.e they level faster than regular edition and that they start already a couple levels ahead). That was not the

Bought this for my grandson. He is a collector of Skylandets. He enjoys this giant and plays with it on his PS3. it has unique qualities for which he uses this giant alot. He is 7 yrs. old and very good. He is quick and mounts up the points so he can get his upgrades.

This is a character from the Tech Elements. The character will shoot from both fingers just like a kid would do when "playing guns"
You will need all 8 elements to complete 100% of this game as there are different sections of the game only accessable by a specific element.
Also, what is neat is that the "R clusive" Bouncer is blue instead of gold like th regular version. When the toy is played inside the game he is also blue which makes it fun that they are playing a different version of the character. Now, I do not think there is anything extra like abilities or upgrades just the color.

The Legendary Bouncer is in essence, the same piece as the basic Bouncer but as a golden and black paint job. It does show up onscreen as a Legendary piece, much as all the other Skylanders Legendary variants available at Toys R Us. As a piece overall, the model is very nice for collectors and Skylanders fans alike. The only drawback is that it doesn't add additional in-game features aside from the coloring scheme for the character. The Bouncer still operates the same as the Legendary variant so it's basically good for collectible value more than actual in-game difference.
