Monster Traction™ Drives on Rough Terrain
The Power Wheels® Dune Racer is designed to navigate rough terrain for off-road fun. The vehicle's big, rugged tires and Monster Traction™ drive system keep it from getting stuck--hard surfaces, lush lawns, wet grass, gravel, and mud are no obstacle at all! Common backyard bumps like tree roots, ruts, sidewalk and driveway edges, and garden hoses are also easily navigable.
Steel Frame is Built for Safety
The Power Wheels® Dune Racer is constructed with a sturdy steel frame that supports a maximum weight of 130 pounds. Sleek chrome accents on the rims, bumper, and shifter highlight its durable bright green plastic exterior. A pair of metal sidebars provides stable hand supports, while the pretend seatbelts with hook & loop fasteners help get kids in the habit of buckling up. For added safety, the interior of the vehicle features smooth contours and rounded edges to protect against cuts and scratches.
Two Speeds for Beginners and Advanced Users
Whether your child is a beginner or an advanced driver, the Dune Racer's two driving speeds can accommodate him or her. The vehicle features an electronic power lock braking system that automatically stops the vehicle when your child's foot lifts from the pedal. A shifter with high-speed lockout for beginners provides custom control of driving speeds--low speed for normal 2-1/2-mph cruising, and high speed for maximum 5-mph racing. The vehicle can also shift into reverse for convenient backing up.

      This vehicle was relatively easy to assemble. It has great traction and goes everywhere! It is pretty fast too. All the kids in the neighborhood have ride ons like the John deer or the Barbie ones, but the all love this one. It carries two smaller kids easily. It will easily carry my 5 and 9 year old but might go a little slower up hills. I am 130lbs and it even carried me with no problems on level ground. They ride it on grass, dirt and pavement without any problems. It was a great gift and worth the money. Definitely would recommend.

        It was a gift for our two year old and although we have to be very near when she drives it, it is awesome. Very durable and even carries the weight of our 10 year old too. We are very satisfied!

          3yo (almost 4yo)loves it. there are two speeds. it definitely has to be on the high speed for her but it's perfect. i'm not sure about the suv ruggedness of it. it does okay with hills as long as it's really dry. sometimes we have to stand behind her and give her a nudge, but for the most part, it's really perfect. she has a blast in it and of course she loves the pink and purple. we bought a barbie bike horn and installed it so she'd have some "honking" wish the horn on the car actually worked but not a big deal. i'd love to see some sort of seat belt because when she first takes off she jerks forward a bit and she sometimes slides on the plastic seat depending on what she's wearing. if the tires had a little better traction and it had seat belts, I'd have given it a 5. Buy it. It's worth the smile on your child's face.

            This ride on is perfect. It has a Torquey little motor and a good ground clearance. It has hard tires that grip well in the dirt and it truly holds it own in the mud and snow.
            It slides a lot on pavement, but it us not designed for that so I am not going to take off any points for concrete and pavement. The seats are big enough for two to ride comfortably and both my son and daughter get a lot of fun out of this car. It sits with a good low sinter of gravity and it is not a distance to fall if they do fall out. Just a great toy and I have had an amazing two years with it so far!
