        The costume as a whole is very cute but the quality is poor. Strands of thread and cheap material combined with sloppy manufacturing job makes me consider returning this item.

            Looks nothing like the picture when on. The costume does not include a petticoat so it lays flat. The belt buckle is not ornate like the picture. The costume does not include the boot ruffles. The hat does not stand up as shown. And, the sword is sold separately.

              My daughter loves this custume. Great material for the price and it's style. The hat's straps are suppose to go under the hair in the back not under the chin and is suppose to be tilted slightyly to the side. My daughter's is a little big so we are going to use a Pink Hanky and it fits perfect know. Although she won't keep the hat on. So the hanky will help the pirate affect.

                  I bought this today for my 2 yr old. She wants to be a pirate for Halloween and when I saw this- I couldn't resist. It's adorable IN THE PICTURE. The hat is a thin piece of foam that is sewn together incorrectly. You can't fully open the hat to put it on the kid's head. Plus, the chin strap is sewn on the wrong sides (if you were to strap it on- the hat would be sideways). The little "jewel" wasn't on the ribbon. The arm cuffs are missing the lace at the top. There were so many loose strings- it looked like it was about to fall apart and the velcro on the belt snagged the cheap fabric within 30 seconds. It's too bad it was a piece of junk because it could've been adorable! It wasn't even worth the relatively low price I paid.
