Using a scaffolding teaching method designed by developmental psychologists, the tablet helps you encourage your child to participate in constructive play and helps promote early learning to prepare your little one for school. The VINCI Diary provides the Age Norm reference guide, giving you a way to track your child's progress and create a personal storybook. The tablet can also grow with your little one, thanks to its step-by-step learning structure that covers 43 learning subjects and three levels of assessment and covers all six developmental areas, including thinking skills, emotional and social skills, language and literacy, math and logical reasoning, general knowledge and science. I was very disappointed with this product overall. I had hoped to get my 4 year old off my own laptop which he is really good at using but this product is horrible. The worst part is the cord. It hooks to the tablet in a horrible spot and the connection it makes is almost useless unless you sit and almost hold it together. I would NOT encourage anyone to purchase this product ever!

My son got this for his 2nd birthday. He enjoyed it WHEN it worked properly, which was rare. It wouldn't hold a charge more than 4hrs(which he'd get upset when we had to charge it again). It would constantly freeze(frustrated him). Now because it froze AGAIN he got upset & banged it with his cup and it cracked the screen. It's not working at all now. Bought this thinking it would be made more durable for a 2 yr. old....wrong. Never mind that it only comes with samples stored on it & to get full versions it costs another $100-$400. Don't even waste your money. Buy a Nook or Ipad etc. He uses my nook(which has free kids apps) & is happy with it, not as frustrated.

For the price paid I expected this to be at least a half decent tablet but have found it to be anything but. I will say that the learning software is not bad and the rubber handle is great for keeping the kids from touching the screen with several fingers which confuses the touch screen. The device itself is of pretty poor quality. The speakers sound pretty bad over 50% volume, the touch screen is slow and not very sensitive which can confuse and frustrate the user, the battery life is pretty limited and on ours the charger device worked maybe half the time until we were forced to start using the charger from our kindle fire, the device regularly froze, rebooted itself, or refused to open its own learning apps because the tablet said they were "invalid software" all of which really annoyed the kid when he was in the middle of playing with it, even though it has access to the android marketplace it could barely handle any of the apps we purchased, and in the end the charging port on the tablet got pulled out with the charger because its poorly attached to the device and is basically worthless now because it can't be charged.

I would not recommend this product to anyone. It has to be turned on to charge and still doesn't charge right. DOES NOT come with the curriculm that is advertised for this specific tablet. Very unhappy costumer.

Bought this Christmas 2012 for my grandkids. It does not hold a charge, has to be turned on to charge battery but cannot be used while plugged in. Minimal instructions on fixing the problem of not holding a charge. Web site has 15 pages of specs but no actual how-to. Would not recommend or buy any other product from this company.

Not being familar with tablets, I researched and bought this for my 5 year old grandchild. Overall, the stability and durability of the product is pretty good. However, it does not hold a charge long at all, and the plug for the charger is in an awkard place. She has enjoyed the preloaded apps that came with it, and it's nice to be able to download free android apps, however, for the money difference, I will buy a regular tablet next time and not one of these.

Do not buy this product we have had it foronly 3 days and it freezes up and wont operate till it dies, also the battery dies within hours even when it is not being used! Your better off buying a ipod touch for the price and getting kids app on that!

This product does not come with the curriculm that is advertised for this specific tablet. By the time all the curriculm is added the cost is around $600. Very disappointed with this tablet and the poor costumer support. Would not recommend this product for anyone.
