Did not try it as a floor mat. My son is already crawling, walking now.

Works good as a shopping cart cover although I wish it covered the sides of the basket and had some ties or something - the back moved around a lot when I was trying to get him in and out.

Works the best as a high chair cover. The slim design is perfect as some of those high chairs are a bit on the small side.

Overall a good choice if you don't have a lot of storage, or want to keep one in the car.

I had been wanting a cart cover for a while but all the ones that I could find were very bulky. Then I found this one! It's quick and easy to use, and folds up nice and neat and into its own attached pocket! I love that I can attach his toys with the loops so I dont have to constantly be picking them up, and he loves the pocket for my iPhone so he can watch his shows hands free or play his apps while I am shopping. Its great that it doubls as a high chair cover for restaurants (since I always wonder how well those are cleaned) and it washes in the machine very nicely! Glad I found this one!

- Not much cushion, my daughter can only sit in it for so long before becoming uncomfortable. Like we couldn't use it in a high chair at dinner or anything because it's thin and also doesn't fit too well due to the material.
- Very neutral design which is a plus if you just want something simple
- Easy to clean!!!
- Easy to pack up and travel with, compact enough for a diaper bag.
- Love that it can hold my phone so my daughter can watch her Little Einsteins while we're shopping

If you're looking for something simple and convenient, this is it and it's great for sanitary purposes.

The Slim, as you could imagine, is just that, very slim, very portable. I absolutely love how it folds right up into itself. Ive read a few reviews about it, and some claim its difficult to fold up, but honestly, I do it after Ive put my son in his carseat, as Im sitting in the drivers seat. With little space. And its honestly no hassle what-so-ever. You first just turn the little pocket inside itself, fold it long ways (it kind of does it by itself, once youve flipped the pocket part) and then fold the remaining about twice right into the bag. That might sound difficult reading but honestly it isnt.
Its made out of Temperature resistant neoprene material which is great for those of us who live in the south where the shopping carts are left out in the sun all day long. However, since its slim, it doesnt have alot of cushion. But because its slim, it doesnt cover the cart on the sides. Not necessarily a bad thing, just if you have a kid that likes to eat the shopping cart (ahem, mine) you might want to use disinfecting wipes on the parts that are not covered. And then maybe drape a blanket or burp cloth over the sides.
Also, something that I like alot about it is the fact that the front has snaps that actually clip it around the shopping cart handle. With most shopping cart covers, they have an elastic band that goes around them completely and thats whats supposed to keep it in place on the shopping cart. But if you have a little wiggle-worm for a baby then the elastic doesnt really keep and will drive you crazy as it continuously slips off.
My absolute most favorite part is the Smart device pocket for in cart entertainment! I mean come on?!?!? brilliant. Normally about half way through our shopping trip, my son gets a little fussy from being in the cart so long. So I take my iPhone and open up my Disney Jr app and stream either a Little Einsteins or Mickey Mouse Clubhouse for him to watch. It is seriously a life saver. Especially when youre at the checkout line and all he wants to do is hold on to me. I simply put the iPhone in the little pocket, where its safe from drool, sticky fingers, and chewing, and the minute he hears his shows I know Ive avoided the possibility of a meltdown.

I received this cover and it's really nice and easy to keep clean. Set up was a little difficult at first and the one major complaint that I have is that the back area slips and I think that it'd be beneficial for Infantino to add snaps to the back as well because my daughter managed to manipulate her way out of it and got it removed quickly. Setting it up was definitely a challenge.

I have held off writing this review and used the product for a full two months before giving my feedback. SO at this point I have used the cover at least 16 times, both for shopping carts and restaurant high chairs.

Pros:
1. It is soft and provides good cushion for the rough metal of carts.
2. I like the flaps behind the legs, to keep baby from having the metal bite in to their legs when wearing shorts or dresses.
3. It wipes up beautifully. The loops for the toys are nice.
4. I don't use the smart phone holder, but if that is important to you, it is at a great location for you or baby to see your phone.

Cons:
1. It is nearly impossible to put in a cart properly one handed, while other covers can be done single handed much simpler. So you have to get a cart and set it up before getting baby from the car, or have someone else to hold the baby with you. Set up of this cover properly is pretty lengthy, as there are lots of snaps to line up and hook so the cover stays properly. My fabric cover is much quicker to get set right.
2. The stiffer material makes it very difficult to use in odd sized carts. Normal size carts and large warehouse carts are fine. DIfficult to fit in the smaller carts found at health food stores, or specialty locations. Its stiffness makes it a challenge in high chairs as well.
3. It is supposed to be smaller and less bulky then other covers. I notice no difference in this covers size and bulk than other covers. And it is very difficult to fold (I haven't gotten it back to its original folded state yet) so it is almost bulkier than my stuff in the sack and go type covers, and is definitely more cumbersome and frustrating for this reason. I still carry this separate from the diaper bag, as it is simply too bulky to fit inside reasonably.
4. It only has a waist belt. My little one (11 months old) can maneuver herself around sideways, and has managed to stand despite this belt. My cloth cover has shoulder harnesses, which my little one cannot climb out of or spin in at all. Not all cloth covers have shoulder straps, but I like this feature and consider it a negative that this feature is not in this cover.
5. The neoprene has an odd scent out of the package, and I have found this scent does return if the cover is stored in a space with limited airflow.
6. There is no mommy pocket on this cover, for keys, wallet, whatever. I find this to be a feature from my cloth cover that I miss, nearly every time I use it.

If your goal is to have a cover that fits a standard cart and wipes clean, this cover will work. But I don't think this product has really any advantages over other covers.

And the disadvantages are pretty significant for me. The difficulty in setting it up and in folding it, as well as its inconvenience in odd sized carts, make it the cover that I don't use regularly anymore.

I will continue to use my fabric cover and machine wash as this once a week inconvenience is more manageable for me.

I have 3 children ages 3 and under. I have used this cover with all three boys and have had nothing but great experiences. The kids love that they can play their games on my IPod without me fearing they will drop it. I am incredibly pleased that it keeps them clean, dry, and germ free. And I love how easy it is to clean :) The only con is that it isn't super easy to fold back up, it takes a little getting used to. Overall, I would definitely recommend to anyone! :)

What I love:
- the material is thin but soft and cushy
- the cover snaps over the handle bar of the shopping cart
- it has its own seat belt
- the hooks to connect toys
- flaps at the leg holes so baby's legs don't touch cart
- neutral pattern
- completely covers high chair

What I don't love:
- I can't set up in cart on my own (yet!)
- the sides of cart are exposed, yuck.
- it doesn't fold into the pocket well
- I worry I will lose seatbelt

I haven't washed it yet, but due to the nature of the material I think it will hold up just fine.

I highly recommend this cart cover first and foremost because of its temperature resistant thing, I've tried cloth and cottony cover but since cart is made of metal it is usually cold and the moment I let my baby sit on it he will resist. But with this cover it was an easy going shopping for both of us. Nice color too! You can also use this as a play mat when you go to parks and sit on a grass, oh high chairs too! It's also a bonus you get a smartphone holder so baby will get busy while you do your shopping. Love it!

Shopping cart covers are the best, and this one is without exception. We love it and use it all the time. It goes over the cart very easily so that my daughter can sit comfortably...the smartphone pocket is pretty cool. I will say, it isn't easy to fold up into the attached pocket, but that doesn't really matter. It folds up well without having to use the pocket.
