As soon as this toy lit up and played music so did my 7 month old daughter. Every time she sees this toy she smiles and talks to it. When she opened it on Christmas she went crazy for it. This is her favorite doll when we go out. I just figured out that there are three modes: light, light and music trial, and continuous light and music. I use them all at different times. I would highly recommend this toy.

Great toy!

Positives:
My 6 month old loves it
Easy for her to turn on
Plays 10 minutes!
Soft
Has an off switch (thats key for noisy tots)

Negatives:
The batteries die after about 2 weeks.
She wont sleep without it anymore, so when the batteries die, she wont sleep

This is a great toy. It works perfect and my 15 month old daughter loves it. The music is a bit loud to be used to lull her to sleep, but I keep it in her crib on the light only setting. She's learning how to turn it on and can use it for comfort in the middle of the night.
