Finally, children learn the rules and patterns of vowel pairs (“ee”), digraphs (“ai” in “train”), dipthongs (“oi” in “boil”) and “r”-controlled vowels (“farm,” “bird”).

I love this product but my son got super bored with it after only three days. Granted he is only three but he learn fast so I thought this would he good for him. I ended up putting the books and pen away for a later time to try again.. good concept though. Just a little hard for him to understand right now. He gets angry with it.

My wife and I bought the Tag reader for our daughter who just turned three. She has always loved learning, and we hoped this would keep her progressing quickly. We were not wrong!!! She has already started learning basic addition from the books, as well as higher counting (above 15). Best of all, my daughter hasn't watch a minute of television since owning these new books. Instead, when she seems bored we suggest she reads tangled or nemo. This has been the best Christmas present possible for her. Thank you Leap Frog!

The tag reader is enjoyable, but not as educational as I had hoped. My student enjoys "playing" with the tag, but I'm becoming a little skeptical, and starting to regret the purchase.
