We love the design of these curtains. The look very nice and a little retro. I was hoping with them being black it would help keep the sun from blinding my kiddos in the morning but they are very thin and do very little to actually block out the light, but they do look great. And we do love this design more then the new ones.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
