The reason why my son wanted this toy was spider man magically crawled the wall. Well this magnetic wall worked once. The magnet got stuck at the top of the wall.

Santa brought this for our 4 year old for Christmas. Spiderman does climb the wall however he doesn't flip and stand on top like he it says he is suppose to. His foot gets caught on the 'eye' part of the building. My husbad spent a ton of time trying to figure out how to get position the legs perfectly so it would work. He only got it to work correctly twice out of the 25ish times he tried.
Also, the part of the toy you have to push down to make the magnet go down is hard for my four year old to do on his own.
He still likes it and played with it as a playhouse,not using the advertised features, but Santa is dissapointed. We got the best price I've seen on this toy and I still wouldn't have spent that much money for this poorly designed toy. Just make it a play house if the features are not going to work.

My son takes this toy everywhere he goes. He loves it! The toy has a magnet feature which allows spider man to climb up the wall. For a 3 year old that is AMAZING! The toy comes with spider man only but you can add additional characters at a small price. If you are the kind of parent that encourages imagination and your kid is a big fan of spider man then this toy is right for you!

I just bought this for my son's 4th birthday and he loves it. Spiderman DOES climb the wall. Unfortunately maybe the other reviewer got a defective toy or maybe doesn't realize that you have to push on the button thingy to get the magnets down to the bottom of the wall so that Spiderman will stick to it then climb up. My only complaint about this toy is that Spiderman doesn't slide down the twisty pole that well because there's not enough room for him to fit down smoothly. Otherwise, this toy is great. It's actually better than I thought it would be.

Spiderman is supposed to climb the wall, flip upside down and then flip upright. This does not happen because his foot gets caught on the surrounding area. This was designed on the back of a matchbook. The rest of the playset is fine but the main attraction, the climb, does not work.
