My 8 month old daughter began playing with this darling little set a couple of months ago, and it is still something we have to play with daily. The songs are sweet, she loves the light up face on the register, and after hours of play, I love that you can turn it to "play mode" and take a little break from the songs. :) The little plastic groceries are great. They are different textures and shapes for her to practice holding and picking up, and the perfect size for little hands. She loves gnawing on all of them. We've definitely gotten more than our money's worth with this toy.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
