The Fisher-Price Imaginext Castle Catapult Playset is designed to roll into battle and support the knights trying to get in. You can press down on the disc and fire one of three boulders towards the castle. When you release the disc, the next boulder automatically moves into position! With either a twist or press of the disc, the castle will also call out to warn the knights within the castle of impending fire!

        My son thinks it is great. We have not had any problems, thank the Lord. If I had seen the reviews, I would not have taken a chance on it. He has only had it for almost a week, so I hope it holds up. So far, its done exactly what its supposed to.

          I added the catapult because Toys R Us was having a BOGO 50% sale and I thought it would be nice to add to the set. My little guy wound up with the castle, dragon, ogre, and catapult for Christmas and loved them. I knew the larger toys interacted with the castle, but it was a nice surprise that the catapult did as well. The castle will say things like, "It's raining rock" when the catapult is launched. My lil guy loved it! It made the set complete and added lots of play time!

                Of course this interacts with the Castle. ..its raining rock!! My son loves this toy. it shoots about 3 feet by a Child..about 5 feet by an Adult :) If you need more "rocks" try picking up some plastic cat toy balls. They are the same size and weigth.Ping Pong balls were too small for my liking.

                The excitement in my son's eyes of adding the CATAPULT to his CASTLE was quickly lost after opening because it did not "catapult" it's boulders but only dropped them off the side onto the floor. FAIL ;(
