Bought for my 18 m old for valentines day. My 3 yr old took it over, played with it for a couple hours, total. It's been parked in the corner of the room since. Tried to bring it out to my daugther a few more times and show her that it made noise- nope. It think part of the problem is because there are not real buttons, just touch pads, so she can't feel what to do. She knows about ipads and iphones, but she'd prefer a TV remote-- something with clicking substance. Also, I know kids love noise, but this is a little too much going on at the same time with the songs. Also, on the alphabets- you could be fortunate enough to hear 'A makes the sound...A makes the sound...A makes the sound' until the batteries run out or you take it away. If you have an impatient clicker, you may never hear the end of that sentence. It would be nice if there was a delay until the sentence is over.
Then, I thought I was tone deaf crazy trying to play on the little piano-- you know, happy birthday, twinkle twinkle-- the notes given are C,D,E,G,A,C. Hard to sing a doe a dear to that when you can't even run Fa Fa away. $8-10, that's a good deal. More than that, expect disappointment.

This toy is very cute and educational. It has songs, games, helpful letter/sound and color recognition. I bought it for my two year old who loves it. It's very lightweight, it only has a front (hollowlike) so it's easy to carry, sit in your lap or travel with. You only have to lightly tap the front pad to turn on/off or select anything.
