    I got this and the Glow Crazy Distance Doodler. I have two kids, so I wanted to be sure we had two pens. The pen for this Glow doodle dome was very weak. We had to actually have the pen touch the side of the wall for it to even make a faint mark. We even changed batteries 3 times to be sure it wasn't weak batteries (used different brands as well). The pen for the distance doodler was amazing. It work well and made the tent really fun. Except, like I said, I have two kids. One pen doesn't work for me.

    I had to pack both away and have two upset kids. (I am not going to have them fight over one pen).

    One other thing is that the dome was a little small. My kids are 7 and 4 and small for their age. It was super snug for both of them to get into, and there was only one small space for them to actually doodle on. It may be meant for 1 kid at a time, and just doesn't work for us.

      I bought this for my almost 4 year old Nephew's Birthday but had to give it to him early because I knew he'd love it and low and behold he does. He loves the fact that he is in his own little world, he loves drawing inside of it on the wall that lights up and he loves just shining the light from the pen on the walls and on other surfaces, like a flash light. I just gave it to him today so I have no complaints about it. Your child will love it.

                  The pen completely broke after the first hour! My daugther was loving it and now she is in tears. My husband took it apart to see if he could fix it and said that there was a wire that had become disconnected. He blames it on cheap manufacturing.

                    My son loves the Doodle Dome. The only downside I have seen to this product is that it is a bit small. Theres not enought space for his 4 yr old step brother to climb into the fun with him. Other than that, great product.

                            It is a great product, very similar structurally to other pop-up tents that are made for kids.
                            I bought one for my best friend's daughter.
                            I know from my best friend's daughter, that this is a great present and it lasts. She still uses it when she is at his house. It is easy to put up, and to take down and store.
                            I have now bought one for my nephew, also.
