I received this toy among other toys from Fisher Price for hosting a Fisher Price party for boys age 3+. The Rev n Go cars are interesting because they are not meant to do tricks. However you have to master the skill letting it go at an angle so it can balance and do side spins, nose spin, drive on its sides, backward spins, etc. This set makes it easier to make the cars do stunts. Your little ones can easily insert two cars in it , then pump the handle quickily (3 times for best performance) and press the release button. If you pump it fast, the cars take off fast on their sides and both drives on their sides, and then spin in different directions. If you pump it slow, and release, all you see is the cars taking off slow and driving away without doing any tricks. It comes with two cars. You can store more cars on top (3-4).

I have to say it is hard to balance the car on its own because the car takes off very quickily. I have a few adults try to rev n go without the playset and they had a hard time putting the cars on their sides to do stunt. If you are doing it manually, it does take many many tries to get right. I find this playset useful because it takes the frustration out of you and your kids/grandkids.

Here are some tricks:
Balance on its nose: Car spins
Balance on the left wheels: Car drives on the side
Balance on the right wheels: Cars spins in circle on the side
Rev it up on the opposite direction, and the car drives backward in circle.

During the House Party, I received two sets of toys from Fisher Price. These stunt cars, and Imaginext Castle , Dragon and Ogre. I honestly have to say during that party among 7 boys age 3-7, the kids didn't really play with these cars. The boys were playing with the imaginext castle almost all the time!

If you are buying it for a kid that loves to see cars doing stunts, then go for it. It's the one and only out there! However if your kid like to push car around to pretend play, put cars down the ramp, then this playset doesn't really offer much of a pretend play (only gas, and checking tire).

I really wanted to like this, and I thought for sure that my three-year-old son would with all the sounds and action, but neither one of us was very impressed. Even if the handle is revved quickly by an adult, the cars don't go very fast when they are released. I also expected the cars themselves to do more. The packaging makes it look like they do wheelies and spins on their own, but they don't. You have to rev them and then put them on their sides. Just an okay toy.

Purchased as a gift for friend's 2 year old son. Son LOVED it.
The packaging was hard to remove, but once we got past, assembly was easy.
    Product works as designed.
The "pump" to rev the cars is a bit hard to push down for the 2yr old child. Maybe because product is new?
Also the tracks fall apart easily from the base so be careful when moving it around.

Both my nephews (4 and 7 years old)enjoyed this toy. It is pretty sturdy so it has withstand a few smashes from them. We settled by having them share uses, when one pumps the cars the other one releases them to race. I was not aware that the cars would stand on its sides after being released from the "garage" and turn directions when hitting other objects. Hence the word "stunt" on the toy's name :) I didn't quite grasped that until they played with it. It's a fun toy!

I have a 2 year old grandson who loves cars and everything about cars. He saw it first and said cars! I purchased it and took it home. He loves it. It is simple enough that all I had to do was show him a couple of times and he knew how to operate by himself. It is a race track garage combo and the sounds for the garage is adorable. Well worth the price and would recommend totally!!!!
