Used these with boy starting at 4 wks, now he is 10 wks. I love the Flip diaper covers! After weeks of research I decided to go with a hybrid system because they were more affordable then most other brands and the AIO, I could reuse the cover if only peed on, less covers means less money spent, and they could be used until potty trained.

I currently use the Flip one size covers with the small gDiaper inserts because they are less bulky than the Flip inserts. Once he is bigger I will begin to use the Flip inserts. They don't leak, even with the blowout explosive poops. With pee, I take out the insert, wipe the cover, and put a new insert it. With poo, I use a new cover and insert. Less laundry and fewer covers to purchase this way! I wash them every third day and they have worked great for 6 weeks now. Baby boy got 2 diaper rashes in the first month with disposables and hasn't had one since we started the cloth diapers. I have 10 covers, 18 sm gDiaper inserts for now, and 10 Flip inserts for later. That's all I will ever need and it was less than

We decided to cloth diaper our 2nd child mainly for financial reasons. I decided on the Flips mostly for financial reasons as well. I would have loved to have gotten the BumGenius AIO's but they were just too expensive. I am so happy we decided on Flips. They are very easy and versitile. I love that they are one-size-fits all. I did however have to start him off on disposables, but once he grew out of the newborn size he was ready for the Flips - this is probably smarter anyway considering those firsts poops are super-duper dark and sticky and it stains! I will say that while using the NB disposables he developed diaper rash. Once we started cloth diapering - gone! Relieved!

I love that I can just fold up a prefold and put it under the Stay-Dry insert for a night-time doubler (works great for heavy wetters!) I also love the disposable insert option! We go to NC a couple times a year to see family and the disposable inserts are the perfect choice! We will be taking those to the beach as well.

We got all snaps too. I love the snaps. I was originally going to buy the hook and loop thinking it would fit him better, but heard from so many people that they wear out too quickly. I don't see the snaps wearing out any time soon and the fit is nice.

The gussets around the thighs are perfect. I have actually had LESS leakage on the Flips than I did with disposables, and he is exclusively breastfeeding - Impressive!

Washing is easy and a total non-issue. I was scared of the whole washing dirty diapers at first. The Stay-Dry Inserts just go right in the washer, no need to rinse or wipe/spray off (for now at least). I will probably be using a disposable/flushable insert once he starts solids that way I can just flush it away, but for now its just the Stay-Dry Insert and we add prefolds at night. Easy washing!
I also use the BumGenius cloth diaper detergent and haven't had any issues so far.

So, five stars, hands down! Great product at such a great price!!
