          Let me first say that before I bought this for my son I read the negative reviews and thought I would still give it a try...well, they were right. Not only are there a million, cheaply made little pieces (250) but it has taken me forever to put this thing together. Once I completed a section and went to connect it to another it would fall apart! So frustrating. The slingshot is impossible too, especially for little fingers. You have to squeeze it really hard. I'm definitely going to pack this back up and return it for something else. Don't waste your money...or time!

              Bought for grandchild's birthday. Very excited UNTIL we started putting the VERY numerous and very small parts together. They do not stay together well during assembly so this becomes very tedious and time consuming. The first time the assembled structure is hit the numerous small parts go in every direction and no one wants to spend the next 30-45 minutes reassembling this product. Very expensive non-usable "toy". The engineer who developed this must have a very poor sense of child enjoyment.

                My son got this for his 6th birthday and loves it! He couldn't put it together himself but I didn't really expect him to either. Now that he's playing with it though he can set back up the pieces he knocks down. He absolutely loves this set and wants another one to add to it. I do agree the slingshot is a little hard to launch but we can get it to launch the bird and make it fly. I think it just took a little breaking in. The slingshot being a little difficult is the only reason I fate it 4 stars instead of 5.

                    My 5 y.o. used his birthday money to buy this. he was so excited because he loves building toys and angry birds. This was his first K'nex set. It was difficult for him to build. The set uses small little pieces to lock the pieces together and the instructions for a young child are hard to follow. He needed alot of help. After building it and he tried to use the sling shot, it was a total disaster. You have to pinch the slingshot to release the bird, but it either doesn't go anywhere or falls straight to the floor, no launching to hit the set at all. It would have made more sense to have the slingshot use a pull-back motion like the board games. He is so disappointed. He has many building sets from the other major seller and build sets with hundreds of pieces that are aged for 8 years and up with no problem.
