This Kids R Us Hideaway Bedrail is 43 inches long and 20 inches tall for added safety. The patented HideAway design allows for the bedrail to tuck easily beneath the mattress when not in use. Set up is simplistic and requires no tools. The patented Gap Guard feature securely holds the bedrail against the side of the mattress preventing entrapment. The HideAway Bedrail meets all current ASTM bedrail standards. This bedrail is for children 2-5 years and fits up to a queen size mattress. Assembled Product Dimensions 43L x 20H 1W.

I wanted to review this bedrail because I found trying to find a bedrail that gets good reviews is impossible. This bed rail works fine for us. We moved my daughter into her "big girl bed" earlier than expected because she started climbing out of her crib which was a safety issue. She will be 2 in one month so she is a little young. We put the bedrail on a full sized bed and it fits just fine. I have seen some of the bedrails get complaints of being able to feel the rail under the mattress...I can't feel anything under the mattress with this bedrail. The rails seems pretty easy to fold down and put under the bed but I have not really used that feature yet. I can see where it will be nice when changing the sheets. Anyway, this is a fine bed rail and works just as I had hoped. I plan to buy another one for the bed at my mom and dad's house. It was pretty easy to get together...my husband and I put it together in about 10 minutes and had it on the bed and positioned in about 5 minutes. It was one of the easier baby/child products we have had to put together! I would recommend this product.

The directions were clear and the product was put together very easily. The problem is after it's all together and you use it with the boxspring and mattress. The rails have four beams approx. 1-1/2" tall which then raises the mattress where the rails are underneith. The result is a wavy mattress and there is no way to get around it. The product is poorly designed and not well thought out. I would not suggest buying this product. I will be returning it tomorrow.
