My daughter loves to interact with this educational toy. It is one of the few "singing toys" that isn't excessive in volume, but it is sound-oriented enough to maintain her focus, at least through the alphabet. Great toy!

My grand daughter is two. She has a little trouble with the concept of "puting on the letters and cleaning up. She does love the sounds and when we play together she has an excellent time with gramma!

We received this last year for my 2 yr olds birthday. And with in 6 months he knew the whole alphabet and the sounds for each letter. So we got one for my nephew and he is on his way. Such a great toy.

The LeapFrog Letter Factory highly exceeded my expectations. When I purchased it, it was with the idea that my 18 month old would be able to use it in about six months. I was quite surprised to see that it is now one of his favorite toys. He's only had it for a couple of days but has mastered inserting the pieces into the letter slot and has already learned to say one letter. He especially loves the button that sings the alphabet song, and plays it over and over. It's small considering all the pieces it contains, which is great, and the letter reader sits on top of the bucket which is a wonderful design, helps to keep track of all those letters. The letter pieces are sized just right for little hands but aren't a choking hazard.

Leap Frog is a wonderful product, but this item is not what I had hoped! I returned it to the store hoping to get the refridgerator magnet set which fits up to 3 letters and gives sounds of letters and words; but it is nowhere to be found???
That was a good product, this is just too young for a 4yr old.
If you can help me find that product that would be great. Thanks Toys R Us, I plan to shop with you again for future kid needs : )

I have no idea why Leap Frog discontinued the Fridge Phonics, but this set is a complete ripoff and has no fun factor. Parents, if you are looking for the original Fridge Phonics, do not be deceived by this product as it has no magnets to place on the fridge. The moment you see the back of the letters will turn you off if you previously or currently own the Fridge Phonics. This version of the product listed is just a stripped down cheapo version of the fridge phonics. Your kids will only enjoying playing with this for about a minute as it has no fun factor. You take them out the bucket, Put them back in the bucket, that's it... I bought my child this as a second set to have at her grandparents and boy did we feel cheated. I also bought her cousin a set too... Yesterday, I took them both back to the store and will shop auctions for the original classic. Good Luck!

I bought this toy when my son was 20 months old. (He could already READ letters from the time he was 18 months and knew his alphabet*without having the letters in front of him* and numbers up to 10). Since he was already interested in letters, I wanted to start him with the letter sounds, he now knows them 2 months later! I've never seen another toy like it on the market. Totally recommend this to anyone with a quick learner or even an older child who is ready to learn the sounds!

Fun and educational! I totally follow my 25 month olds lead on letters and the alphabet. He loves this toy. It is fun and it is helpful in his very early stages of understanding sound and letter association. He likes to carry it around and it always triggers his asking me lots of questions regarding sounds and letters and words. Tons of fun, no pressure!
