My 11 month old has played with this for about 4 months. He likes to crawl on it and listen. Obviously an older child understands better, but it sings and says the alphabet. Who wouldn't love it!

This toy is really fun and keeps my son interested. At first I was worried that he wouldn't understand it, but when he plays he counts along with the game just as he should. The only problem I have is that it's a bit too busy. There's a little too much going on as far as the games/addition/songs. I wish it was more like the Letter Discoveries. That toy helped my son learn and remember his ABCs. It's very direct, push a button, get an answer. The games are much more direct as well. "Can you find this letter?" Instead of "can you find this animal/number/fruit?" This toy almost hits the mark of being perfect. It's still great and will help your child learn his numbers, there's just a little too much going on.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
