Bought as a gift for my grandchildren ages 7 and 9. Started playing right away. They read and figured out directions on their own. There are three sets of cards so basically three games. It was fun and easy to play. Once you get the cards you need to make a cupcake you use the timer to make a cupcake or cupcakes within the time frame.

We received this game as a gift and had to open it immediately because of how tempting those little cupcakes looked. The game is quite simple for all ages to play. My girls are 3, 6, and 11 and they all very much enjoyed this game. Initially we didn't realize that their are 3 different sets of recipe cards to play with but once we did we got right to creating the little cupcake creations. One of the best things about this game is that it can be for just one player which is nice when you might not always have a chance to play with your little ones or their siblings are interested. I would recommend this for anyone who has a little princess in their house.

Disney Princesses are a big thing in our house, as our tea parties, and baking. My daughter was so excited to see this game that we had to break it open right away! In the first go around she was much more interested in just building the cupcakes for each princess. But as we played again, she started to get the idea of using the recipe card to make the cupcake. The part about turning over the tiles until you get Mix, Bake, Decorate does not really add anything to the game, but it does not really take anything away either. It just a little "build up" to making the cupcakes.

I really like the idea of having to following the recipe cards to make the specific cupcakes. The idea of following the directions, working while timed, all good skills for future game play. And putting the pieces together is a good practice for fine motor skills.

My daughter is almost 4 and this game seems pretty much geared right at her age level. I like how this is a game she could play by herself or with her friends (with or without the timer component). All in all we enjoy this game and I am sure it will be played a great deal in our house!

I review this gift for my 3 yr old daughter . It's totally awesome. at first it's a little hard to play but once she got the hang of it she wants to play all the time. I enjoy seeing how wells age makes up her own cupcakes . It's a good leaning and memorizing game .
