I bought this game for my 3 year old son, and he has loved it (so have his 6 and 8 yr old sisters). The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is because the Captain Hook character in the game makes it hard to evenly distribute the weight of him and the treasure so that the hammock doesn't automatically fall. We either play with just the treasure, or use another Hook figurine that we have.

This game is certainly not for age 4 and up. It is impossible to balance the items on the hammock without tilting it. If you can balance the treasurers, they are certain to tip over with the first try. This game is frustrating not only for the children but for the parents as well.

Got this game for my 3 (almost 4) year old. He loves pirates and the Jake show. Some people have complained about problems balancing the treasure on the hammock ... we haven't had any real problems. Just double up bands to make hammock less likely to shake and then as you get use to game, take one off. We have had this game about 3 weeks now and I swear we have played over 50 times! It is a pretty simple game but super fun for the young pirate lovers!

My son loves Jake so we got this for him for Christmas. We haven't even been able to play the actual game because it is so hard to balance the items and hook falls right off! My kids were so upset that after taking it all out of the wrapping they couldn't even get past taking one item off the hammock. We have the neverland challenge game and it is MUCH better.

Got this for my three year old for christmas it's a cute game with easy rules that we can play as a family. It is a difficult to balance the treasure hoping to get better at that. The game does go by fast which can be ok with a three old

"Santa" brought this for my 3 1/2 year old and he just told me this morning that Santa should not have brought him this =( Broke my heart! This game is horrible. Super cute, but you can't set it up without hook flipping over,and the first treasure to be taken off the hammock the hammock flips.. GAME OVER! What a waste and horrible that it can't be played!

Very simple amd easy to understand. My 5 year old and 3 year old could play on their own. They also loved the idea of using the tools to get the treasures. No problems for us balancing everything on the hammock, and the map design game board and the compass design spinner are very cute touches that the kids enjoy. The only thing that I personally had trouble with was that it seemed the instructions were a little vague on some issues and my kids weren't sure what to do if no one was on the bridge when it was spun or if the hammock didn't have a certain color treasure on it, but overall we are very happy with this purchase.

This is great we just bought this for my 4 year old son. He loves it, we all do. It's one of those games that goes quick but you actually enjoy playing it on a Monday night after dinner. Some board games I dread. Im giving this to all of his friends for Christmas and birthday gifts. Love it.

My son received this product for his bday (along with every other Jake item) and we tried to play it for the first time tonight. We were unable to even get all of the treasure pieces on the hammock and balance it. They kept falling off. Not fun for my son who just turned 4 years old. We weren't even able to play it. I'm bringing it back.
