I bought this item for my 7 years old son and I think its great.Only gave me a hard time to set it up the lexibook market but when I take my time to read specifications and go to the help area in lexibook website I found the right answer and only updated the lexibook market version and thats it.Everything work perfect...My son is enjoying his new tablet and stop using my ipad.Thats great!!!

I bought it for my daughter about to turn 5. Has some okay apps pre installed. NUMBER ONE DOWNFALL, THERE IS NO ANDROID MARKET, THIS IS POWERED BY ANDROID, BUT DOES NOT GIVE ACCESS TO THE ANDROID MARKET. THE MARKET IT DOES HAVE FOR LEXIBOOK JR. FOR EASY DOWNLOADS IS EMPTY, STATES NO CONTENT AVAILABLE, TRY BACK TOMORROW. THERE ARE NO APPS OR BOOKS AVAILABLE TO BUY. WOULDN'T ACCEPT MY CREDIT CARD WHEN I SIGNED UP AS A NEW USER, DOES NOT USE AMERICAN CURRENCY. The apps pre installed for a pre-school level and the books pre installed are for a teenage level and looks HORRIBLE, only a few words to a page, makes it hard to get into a chapter when the majority of the book is an image, not words on a page. (looks like you're looking at a book, you can see an outline of a book cover, then what would be paper if you were holding a real book, then the paragraph is in large font but only two inches wide, MORE GRAPHICS THAN WORDS ON SUCH A SMALL SCREEN), so there are one to two words to a line. Other books on it don't fit at all on a page and you can't see it, it runs off the screan.

My daughter received this tablet as a gift for Christmas. We had never heard of a lexibook before, but figured we'd give it a try. Our daughter just turned 2 and she is a whiz on our ipads and iphones, so we figured it'd be okay for her. She picked up easily on how to use the tablet. But the tablet freezes OFTEN, the games and quality of games is terrible. Lots of our favorite apps are not available on this tablet (even though they are available on other android tablets). Oh and the app store is not user friendly (even for adults) and trying to install the apps on the tablet after downloading is a chore! The only good thing about this tablet is that it is pretty durable and after several drops it has not one scratch on it. I would definitely NOT recommend though. I would recommend spending a few dollars more and getting a Kindle Fire or an ipad.

I bought this for my daughter in dec for Christmas , she loved it for maybe 2 months. She is 3, but a very smart 3. When I went to the store to buy a tablet , I asked the employees what they recommend for a kid who is usually on my iPad, uploading and playing games I play. This is what they recommended .
Well, don't forget the parental password.. There is no reset button or reminders ...if you forget it, the instructions say to plug it into a computer and reset device, DOES NOT WORK, AND THERE ARE PLENTY OF DISAPPOINTED MOMMIES ALL OVER THE INTERNET TO TELL YA!
Once she played the same games because you cannot add apps....she was board and was begging me for my iPad once again !
Do yourself a favor... For probably the same $$$ buy a regular tablet or a refurb, iPad for your kids... This is a waste!

I bought this tablet in December, it stopped charging in January. The company Calexlogistics sent me a new one in February and it too stopped charging in march. I asked for a refund via email and phone and Lexibook basically ignored my emails and requests for a refund. In my opinion they have extremely poor and unprofessional customer service. I would not ever recommend this product to anyone. They do not deserve any stars but I gave one as you had to put something.

Great content. Many apps preloaded, videos, karaokes, music, games. We have a lot of fun. Parental control is easy to set up. Very user friendly. I had to reset the app market and phoned the helpline. They were great!

I bought 2 of these for my girls, so they each had one... And both of the tablets didn't work. I couldn't get the user accounts set up. It would erase everything. They couldn't get to the games, it would constantly go back to the main screen. The only nice thing is the 45 day return period on the tablet. Definitely going back today!

I bought this tablet for my daughter's birthday. The pre-loaded games worked, but we couldn't get the marketplace to work at all and couldn't download any of the free stuff that supposedly comes with it. When we went to their website to try to figure out what was going on, it was all in French. When we tried to get help on the website, it asked for our location and the U.S. wasn't even an option! In the end, my husband and I spent 2 1/2 hours trying to make it work before we completely gave up. We are returning it tomorrow for a different tablet that will actually function.

I wanted to just update my previous review but am not sure how to do that. I was in love with this product when I first purchased it as was my son, but I've had to replace it twice and finally (the third time) had to send it back for a refund (definitely get the insurance through toy r us for electronic toys). I'm not sure what the issue is but in each instance it just stopped working altogether.
