Just a few missing pieces that I had on hand to replace. But my major gripe is it was missing the 2 printed "Forward unto Dawn" blocks. Placed a missing parts order on megabloks website and hopefully will get them soon.
Other that the missing parts this was a fun build.

Every time that I open a Mega Bloks set, there's new specially molded pieces that contribute greatly to the set. One of my favorites, so far, has been Master Chief's cryotube. Along with the cryotube, the whole set has amazing detail. The fact that the ship splits in two and can still feel like one big piece when it's together is awesome.

The shipping was amazingly fast. I ordered the Forward Unto Dawn on a Sunday, it was shipped on Monday, and it was delivered on Tuesday. All in all, it took less than 40 hours to get here with standard shipping. I will be ordering from Toys "R" Us again.

My son is a rabid Megabloks/Lego fan. This was his dream item to receive for Christmas. Unfortunately, 25% of the pieces he needs to build it are missing -- the interior packaging has four separate "boxes" of pieces, and instead of getting boxes A, B, C, and D (for example), he got A, B, and two of C -- no D.
Megabrands customer service has been unreachable - they either have a message saying they are closed, or say all reps are busy and send you straight to a machine to leave your callback information. Left info two days ago, and still no callback. No answer to repeated calls, either.
Not available in store to exchange, and would prefer not to risk getting the same mess by exchanging through the mail. DO NOT BUY.

Purchased this as a surprise Christmas gift for my son. It has been wonderful seeing a 15 year old get so much enjoyment once again building with Mega Bloks. I would recommend this for anyone who loves Halo to include adults of any age! The set is packaged very nicely in a strong good quality box that will be around forever.

I'm sure the Halo MegaBloks set is awesome. I bought it for my 20 year old son because I know it is. I also bought it for a Xmas present on ToysRUs.com Imagine my surprise when the Collectors Box (set cost $250) came unwrapped, not packed in any other box, dinged up, with a big UPS sticker smacked to the side of it. This is the kind of set collectors keep. Cannot keep this. Toys R Us told me to drive to the store to see if they had another one. Great - now I have to drive 25 miles out of my way to do this. I asked them to send me another one packed in another box and they said they cannot ensure that their warehouse will read any special instructions and do this. Really?? I won't be buying from ToysRus.com again. Bummer.

This product was a labor of love. They really spent a lot of time designing this and I could not be happier with the ship. I build a lot of legos and mega bloks and this is in my top two.

Everything in this set is made to be collectible. The box is beautiful. Inside is four more detailed boxes with that contain the pieces. The four boxes are made to keep. They can be re-used and have great art on them. The instruction booklet is thick! The ship itself is built in halves and is massive. I love Halo and have been more than happy with this set. I had to organize the pieces into about 15 bins because there is just so many. They also happen to give you quite a few extra which is always nice. The instructions are great and it is so much fun to build.

The Master Chief looks incredible. He has over 20 coats of paint and looks unique compared to other spartans. He is the first mega bloks Master Chief made and they did a very good job. The light up Cortana is cool also. I do wish there would have been more than five figures. The ship is 3 feet long and looks very detailed when finished. The ship also can come apart in the middle to recreate the battle scene in Halo 3. The inside of the ship does not waste any space. Every bit is taken up with cool systems and parts.

The price is steep, but this truly is a collector's item. It is the first in a series and is every part of the product including the boxes were well made and honestly I was very impressed overall with this set. This is an exclusive to Toys'R'Us. I think it is by far the best set that Mega Bloks has ever made. I was hesitant to spend so much but once I got the ship I was very glad I did. They really make this worth the money.

This is a HUGE set. I dont own any Legos or Megbloks but I had to have this. This set is massive and will keep you busy for aleast a full day(took me about 18 hours). With all the detail that the builder will appreciate and the shear size. The price is high but worth it.

The Easy highlighted intructions, Huge instruction book, and the pieces come in 4 different boxes with nicely printed inventory pictures informs you which piece is located in each box makes it easy to find.
