The Fisher-Price® Imaginext® Castle Ogre is no ordinary medieval creature. Action Tech™ technology, the latest in interactive toys, is built into this Castle Ogre. Grab the handle to hear stomping sounds as the Ogre walks, or have him hold onto an Imaginext® figure (sold separately) with his spring-loaded fingers. The Fisher-Price Imaginext Castle Ogre is a new twist on kid-powered adventure! With a handle on his back and a ball-jointed waist this Ogre can really move! Squeezing the handle will raise his arms and when you move him around the arms will swing smashing anything standing in his way. Equipped with "Turn Tech" technology a squeeze of his handle will send a signal to the castle to warn the knights within of the approaching ogre. He even has his own lights and sounds to have a smashing good time. The Ogre also comes with a club.

My six year old got the Castle Ogre for his birthday a month ago and plays with it all the time! When the arms are raised (by gripping the handle on his back) the ogre says what is typical of it's kind ~ "Arrggg"!, when the arms drop there is a crashing sound. When his tongue is pressed he makes a chewing sound and when it is depressed make a "blech" sound as though he's spitting out something. There are a couple of other grunting type sounds that are loud enough without being over so. Here's the great thing ~ my son also has the castle in this set and it says special commands when the Ogre is near that it otherwise would not!
It has a great appearance, like almost all quality Fisher-Price toys, it is incredibly durable (has survived numerous drops on to our tile floor unscathed), and for it's size is not heavy. My son also loves the Imaginext figure-sized depression on the bottom of it's right foot where a figure can be "stepped" on and gets stuck into the bottom of the foot :). This is a fun addition to our embarrassingly large collection of Imaginext that has provided my son with years of wonderful imaginative play.

Received the toy and failed to check it before wrapping it for Christmas. Opened Christmas day and the thing doesn't work/is broken. I just lost my wife, the boys their mother, and this is one of the first gifts I give to one of the kids on my own and of course it is broken. What a pain...I don't have time for this. Thanks a lot Toys R Us.

So much fun. My boys got this & the dragon for Christmas. Surprisingly they fight over the ogre more. He makes fun noises and being able to lift his arms to bash stuff is boy heaven. The spot on the bottom of his foot to squish stuff is hilarious. So cool how it interacts with the castle.

My son got the whole set for Christmas and his favorite is the Ogre... He loves it when he can step on the knight and the castle throws some kind of plates at him, and they interact... We celebrate Three Kings Day and will be getting him the dragon too, LOOOOVVEEE IMAGINEXT!!!

My 4 yr old son loves this toy! He plays with it every day. His favorite features:
1) The easy carry handle that makes the ogre easy to handle and also makes it growl and move its arms.
2) the inset on the foot that is a perfect match to the imaginext figures. Looks as if the ogre "stomped" on them.

The size is great and my son loves it! He loves the dvd that comes with the toy and the sounds the toy makes. Everything the toy does is perfect for the age group the toy is made for. He has the dragon as well and loves that toy too. Very satisfied!!

This is a great toy. It's bigger than I tough, but with the handle on the back, it's easy to play with, even for a 3 years old boy. Interact really well with the imaginext castle. A lot of fun!
