      Great set! My son got this for his first birthday. In addition to pushing it around, and pretty constantly carrying one of the pirates around, he has climbed on it, and thrown it against our tile floor. Sturdy, cute, and fun! Just enough accessories to keep the kids interested but still encourages imagination. My Three and 1/2 year old daughter loves it, too!

        This toy is built really well! Just as good as the Jake and the neverland ones. What I really like is that there are no skulls on it! My son doesn't care that he doesn't have the 'jake' figurines!

            I bought this for my son when he turned 2. He loves pirates, so we wanted to get him a ship with some pirates. I originally purchased a larger building blocks style pirate ship. I saw this one in store and took the other ship back. This one has more pirates and accessories. I also liked that it could not be taken apart like a block ship could.

            The ship seems very sturdy. The main part of the boat is hard plastic but the flag, sails and pirates are a softer flexible plastic. It has small wheels on the bottom to roll around and sits flat (neither of my boys have even accidentally knocked it over). So far it has held up to my 2 year and his 4 year old brother, both of whom are very rough on toys. The ship comes with 5 pirates, a small dingy, a table with treasure map on it, and a treasure chest.

              I had my heart on getting our son a Jake and the Neverland Pirate's ship but when we went to the store to buy it it was out of stock. I asked the salesman if they had a similar pirate boat for a 2 year old and he said no. Luckily, my husband found this Teeny Town pirate ship! And we love it! My son and his 3 1/2 year old brother have not stopped playing with it since he opened it. He barely acknowledged the other toys he got. It is a sturdy boat (trust me, my two boys are not gentle with their toys) and the pieces that go with it are a nice size. We also bought the island that goes with it - provides a lot of use of the imagination.
