I needed a sterilizer that could disinfect bottles since I was going to be feeding my newborn a bottle right when she got home. The sterilizer fits 6 bottles and plenty of the accessories (like nipples) in a basket. The problem with the sterilizer is that it always states there is an error with the system. After EVERY use, you must remove the remaining water that is in the sterilizer, wipe it down, dry it, and then unplug it. Again, this is after EVERY USE!!! It is not very practical when you are first starting to feed your baby because you don't have enough time to do all of the above things AND wait for the bottles to disinfect. I also had to send back 2 different sterilizers before the third finally worked. Born Free was great with replacing the items, but I now just boil water and put the bottles in a large pot.

Not sure how sterilizing the bottles became "my job," but I'm finding it much easier than I thought and it's kind of satisfying. We use the Born Free sterilizer at home 2-3 times a week. It's easy to load, set, and forget. I love that the lights on the front show you where it is in the cycle so you know when it's sterilizing and when it's in cool down mode. We use the dishwasher basket that comes with it too. Great product, and we have not had any of the issues decribed in a couple of the reviews.

I wanted this product because I use the born free bottles and because I do not need to guess how long to heat the bottles. It is great sterilizer. You just have to make sure to have enough water in it and make sure to clean it every once in a while.

I'll love this product if it worked. I'm gonna give it another try. I like that fits all my bottles and accessories. However, the red light keeps coming on half way trough the cycle which means bottles aren't sterilized.

this item did not work as needed. it completed only one successful cycle; after that the lid would not close to start another cycle; or it would start a cycle and pop open mid cycle leaving everything inside unsterilized. i exchanged it for another unit, and it was dejavu all over again, exactly same issue within same time frame. im returning this for refund and trying another brand

When this warmer first came out I saw it online, however, it wasnt sold in stores. I use the Born Free bottles and was very interested in a warmer designed specifically to fit Born Free. My only hestitation was the size.
My husband ended up buying it for Xmas and it has become a daily asset to my household.
Size is not an issue because the "cooler" on the back actually comes out which isnt mentioned iin the description. I never took the cooler out of the box being a formal feeding mom.

We bought one and it worked great, once. Then the lid would not shut properly and it could no longer complete the cleaning cycle. So we exchanged it for another one AND got the 1 year super duper warrenty option. The second one will not even power up. So far we've spent about $10 in gas and cleaned 6 bottles. Might just be bad luck, but two in a row that don't work seems like a bad sign.

This is the best sterilizer I have tried thus far. It displays flashing lights so you know exactly how much time is left on the cycle, and it has a cool down function so you don't burn yourself. If there is an interruption in the cycle, a red light will flash indicating that the bottles aren't sanitized. I had the tommee tippee one and it started to malfunction and shut off after a 2 minute cycle. Luckily I noticed this and threw it out. That could have been very dangerous for my newborn because it gave me no warning that there was a malfunction, unlike the Born Free model. It is also small, sleek, and modern looking. It is well worth the price for the piece of mind. It also steams the longest-16 minutes which is reassuring to me. Only con, I have tommee tippee bottles and they don't fit to well.
