My 3 yr old son received this game for his birthday and loves playing with it. He's at the stage where he likes to copy everything he hears so this game is perfect for him in sounding out letters and words. He also seems mesmerized by the little purple friend that dances and turns into letters. I would definitely recommend this game to anybody looking for a fun game to help teach the ABC's. I'm planning on getting this as gifts for my nieces who are around the same age.

This game is just wonderful. I bought it for my 3 y/o son. He plays about an hour a day. He's learned a lot he runs around singing every letter makes a sound etc.... He wants to tell you the beginnings letter of word he says. Anything he asks for he's using letters can I have j j juice it starts with J. Great game

I purchased this for my 5 yr. old grandaughter for Xmas. She has hardly put it down. It has to be her favorite present. I love the fact that I can get more games as she masters the ones we now have.

I love this game, my kindergartner has improved all his letter, reading, and writing skills immensely in the one month we have had this game. It is a must for any kids under 6. My 2 yr old has not quite figured it out but repeats the letter so it is a start for her. Best game!

I purchased LeapPad2 for my granddaughter for Christmas. She is enjoying it to the max. Her parent will be purchasing the Rechargeable Battery Pack,(batteries are extremely high). The Letter Factory is a wonderful starter game.

The leappads said they were for children 3 to 9. However, after buying my daughter one for her third birthday and caught my 2 year old playing with it constantly I realized that 2 was plenty old for this toy! I bought a second one and now we take them everywhere! They seriously have made my life easier, and happier. Dinners out are now quiet, long drives are fuss free, and bed time is a joy! this is our favorite game so far... it matches the video was taught my children their ABC's at just 18 months old (each). thanks Leappad for making this mommy's life a little (no a lot) easier! Both girls love this game (ages 2 and 4 now).

I got this for my 3-year-old daughter. She loves that she gets to play video games like her big brother. I like that she is practicing her letters. I wish there were only capital-but I also haven't logged onto the Learning Path to see if I can change that. The hardest part for her at 3 is to write the letters. While the video game allows for some deviation from the letter path, it is still a bit tricky for her to control the stylus like that.

This game is so funny and interesting, my little boy and girl really like. They have played this game whenever are free time. Sometimes I also play with them. I will buy more LeapFrog games for my children in the future.
