This is my first baby and was given the advice to invest in a convertible seat instead of an infant seat to save money. I did buy a convertible seat (different brand) but after alot of sleepless nights and research I decided to get an infant carrier anyway. Soooooo happy I did!!! This is great! And I got the click connect stroller to match as a gift which is perfect! This carrier is light and the color is gender neutral (just in case lol). The only downside is that it doesn't fit in the top part of shopping carts which probably isn't a bad thing since its not safe to put a baby carrier in that part anyway because the cart may tip over from the weight.

Honestly can say that I LOVE this one. My baby was a preemie so the extra protection made me feel better about traveling with baby. It was easy to install and has been even easier to make adjustments than I anticipated. My son loves this car seat and never fails to fall asleep in it every time he's on it, which makes me believe he is super comfortable in it.

The down side of this car seat is that it is pretty bulky.. Larger than most anyway, which can cause problems if you have a small car. I don't mind the size though. Also it is pretty heavy! So make sure you have a stroller otherwise you will have a workout carrying that car seat around. Another negative is that the canopy is super difficult to adjust. It won't go all the way back.

I wanted exactly this when my son was born. I purchased this seat prior to my second baby. I needed to use it before the baby was born with my 15 month old and even at 8 months pregnant, I was able to set it up and adjust it just fine. Only problem was that it takes up alot of room and the front seat needed to be almost all the way up. I have a Britax Marathon and feel that the Snugride is a much better buy since it starts out as an infant car seat and shifts to a convertible car seat as the baby grows. I feel the Britax did not recline as much as a newborn needs.

When we started our infant seat research, we stumbled across this seat and though it was a terrific solution, with its 40lb capacity, and the ability to slide the seat on the base to provide additional space for the growing baby's legs. The inherent flaw is the seat is considerably longer than most. We didn't realize this until we did a dry run test in our SUV - and Acura MDX. The seat was so long, it touched the back of our front seats, making it challenging to insert and remove from the base. It also meant that there was no space to adjust the seat on the base as intended. Otherwise we felt comfortable with the amount of padding, ease of adjusting the belt system, etc. In the end, we liked the Graco Modes Click Connect stroller the best and wanted to stick with a compatible click connect infant carrier. Hence we decided on the Graco 35 LX seat. The LX model has many of the same convenience features (no rethreading of the harness), in a smaller footprint and fits much better in our SUV. The tradeoff of not accommodating a larger infant/toddler is now a null concern as we realized eventually we will still need a convertible seat. We are expecting any day now, so we do not have any real experience with an infant in the seat, hence we have no feedback on the actual day to day practicality of either carrier.

I was given this as a gift for my baby shower and when baby arrived, I could not wait to use it. Anyway very disappointed with product. The hood is very flimsy and feels very cheaply made, also the hood will not cover sun in baby's eyes. The base is so big I am nervous about putting carseat in my Graco snap and go, If I am to go shopping I have to put carseat in cart which it fills the cart because its so big. I see other mothers with carseat attached to cartseat and I am truly jealous and annoyed that a product which cost so much money would not have all the amenities of a regular carseat. I will definitely be buying another one as soon as I can afford to and throwing this one out.

Very heavy carseat and like other reviews mentioned, this carseat is way too long. The passenger side seat has to be pushed up all the way to fit the carseat and then no one wants to sit in the passenger side. Save your money and buy a cheaper carseat. Also canopy is super flimsy and doesn't adjust easily.

We were interested in this seat because it would last a lot longer than the usual infant carrier and would hopefully save us money in the long run. We worried that it wouldn't fit in our Honda Civic and Pontiac Grand Am coupe, both smaller cars. We bought it on an open box sale, and gave it a try and much to our surprise, it fit in both cars. We are both very tall 5'10" and 6'6" so we could not install it in the middle of the back seat, but it works just fine behind the passenger seat. We did find that when the seat is put in the farthest legroom position, for when baby is closer to the max of the seat, whoever is in the front seat would be a little tight on space, but we decided that it would be a sacrifice we were willing to make. And for the majority of the time we would be using the seat, it wont be a problem. We are happy with our purchase.

The car seat is the best so far. The ease of getting it in the car and transferring it into the stroller is great. I love how secure it makes her.

We initially exchanged a Safety 1st car seat for this Graco brand to fit a Graco stroller system that was given to us but later found out that it doesn't match the stroller at all even though it says, "Click Connect". We would've kept the car seat, but the seat itself isn't very easy to use compared to the Safety 1st seat. The baby seems squished in the car seat and the straps do not extend very far. It takes longer to put the baby in the seat which made it very inconvenient to use or if you were in a hurry. Needless to say, we regret exchanging from the Safety 1st seat and will be taking this one back. Just a headache all around.

I bought this product after I bought the Modes Click Connect stroller. The carseat it really nice and my 3 month old son seems comfortable in it. I appreciate the ease of use with the stroller system and I anticipate the added value with the extended use up to 40lbs. The only con to this carseat is that it is heavy (23lbs) and can be akward to get out of the middle of my Honda Pilot. I worry about potential back strain due to the weight of the seat plus baby when getting him out of the car. Other than that, I love the seat and feel that my baby is very well protected and safe in it.
