I use the base for my grand babies seat. It's convenient because we can just pop the seat in and out. We don't have to worry about changing cars or removing the base in and out. Saves time.

    I bought this car seat for our third child, who is now 2 months old. WE LOVE IT!! With the extra base for grandmas car we don't have to shuffle seats all the time. And the seat is used for up to a two year old....(I put my 20 mointh old in it and they fit)!! :o) No more buying a new seat every year for them outgrowing it!

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
