The Britax Roundabout 55 Convertible Car Seat ? Silverlake accommodates children rear facing from 5 to 40 pounds and forward facing from 20 to 55 pounds. The Roundabout 55 is purposefully designed and engineered to minimize the forward movement of your child's head during a frontal impact to reduce the risk of head injury with the following revolutionary Britax head safety technologies: Base with SafeCell Technology designed to compress in a crash, significantly lowering the center of gravity and counteracting the forward rotation of the child seat. Integrated Steel Bars strengthen the connection to the vehicle and reduce forward flexing of the child seat during a crash. Energy Absorbing Versa-Tether features a two-point attachment and staged-release tether webbing to slow the forward movement and reduce the crash forces reaching the child. The Roundabout 55 also incorporates Britax Side Impact Protection to contain the head and body and protect from the most severe types of crashes. Additionally, the five-point harness is tangle-free and the multiple buckle and recline positions, comfort pads, and infant body pillow provide premium comfort and positioning.

I have 2 of these seats and LOVE them! This seat is great for cars. I even have one in a 2 door Honda Civic and still have plenty of room for my other 2 kids to buckle up and sit comfortably. My child is very comfortable in this seat while riding. Installing it into the car is super easy (I use the LATCH system)!

Absolutely love the Britax brand. I had two chairs for my oldest daughter & now with her sister I would only trust Britax again. Im looking forward to the forward facing which will begin next week! The chairs are safe, comfortable for the little ones & they're outstanding quality. Its the only brand I trust for my
