Okay- this seat truly is great. It has such wonderful padding and head support that it really made me feel comfortable with putting my little guy in it. We had to switch him to a convertible car seat at approx 6 months and I love that he looks comfortable, safe & secure in it. Being below average on height and weight I was worried he would be floating in some of the car seats I looked at. The head support is probably my favorite because it allows him to nap comfortably and I like the extra protection, but it might get a little too warm in the summer (we'll see).

I probably spent 24+ hours researching car seats- crash test ratings, sizes, pros & cons etc and while everything said to buy Britax at nearly $250 I couldn't do it when we had to buy for two vehicles. I really am glad I trusted my gut on this one. It is a large seat, but rear facing in my Journey I still have plenty of leg room up front.

The only things I can complain about are the installation with LATCH, and the color. EVERY photo I saw of this made it look like it was black and dark grey, but the dark grey is actually a purple (plumish). But, neither my hubby or I thought it was "too girly" so we kept it. Now the LATCH installation rear facing took my a good hour or so- with both myself and my husband attempting to get it in snugly and level. Thank goodness it has the level indicator to do the work for me, because the installation was a pain- UNTIL I read a review that suggested pulling the cover off the side of the seat and pulling the tail of the strap up through the crevice below the cup holder and VOILA it was in there tight as possible. The buckle can also be a bit difficult to unsnap sometimes (the grandparents hate that).

I absolutely would suggest this seat to anyone, it might be too big for a compact car though. Definitely worth the money, and the DLX really has padding that surpasses the LX in my opinion. I love this seat.

we love the graco my ride 65 car seats! this was the 2nd one we've purchased. we had a pink one for my daughter (going to use for our son in dad's work car that we rarely travel together in) and i bought this one for the family car thinking it was black and gray, but its black and lavender! so now my little man has 2 girly car seats b/c im not driving 45 minutes to exchange it! ;) so, just beware! ive looked at the photos of this carseat on 2 different computers and my cell phone i honestly can't tell that it is purple!

We bought this carseat about 6 months ago, and I love it. It fits in my 2007 Prius (which is small), and it's very easy to install. It's kind of difficult to get the straps as tight as you need to, but you get used to it. Other than that, LOVE it!

I was recently t-boned on the side that my 7 month old baby was in this seat and I am very happy to report that the seat barely moved (just tilted a little) and my baby was totally fine!! I'm getting this seat again!

This convertible carseat is perfect for my twin boys. They are big and roomy and seem super comfortable. Not very difficult to install. I don't know what the one person was talking about with it not having latch because it definitely does. It has two cup holders so the boys can have drinks and a snack up or toys in the other. Great! We are probably going to purchase two more for our other car!

Only down side is that it didn't seem to get "super" tight when adjusting straps. But I'm sure I just need to play around with it and it will get better just like their GRACO infant seats we had before this!

Was looking for a second carseat to leave with my folks for when we visit and this came recommended. Utterly USELESS. My father and I tried for over two hours to get this thing installed and finally returned it to pay $150 more for a Britax marathon which installed like a dream. Not what I had intended to do - but really, this carseat was bulky and awkward. Did not have the nice latch locks and was not user friendly at all. I can't even tell you what it was like with my son in it, though it seemed comfortable enough. If you are going to keep it in your car forever and never taken it in/out, maybe it would be fine.

we deciced to get this one for our lil one she is 26 months i wanted something when she fell asleep her head wouldnt slouch down like her old carseat. when i first saw it it looked too big on top BUT my husband said i like it we are taking it!! so glad we did our lil girl loves it especially now that she has a spot for her sippy cup and snack cup. She already fell asleep and i love it she has plenty of room and it feels soo comfy also.. Thanks Graco you are awesome.. oh once we put in our car it wasnt really that much bigger than our old one.. Looks are deceiving, i would TOTALLY recomend this to anyone even for people that have babies the attachements it comes with make the seat even more comfy TOO bad my child was alittle too big for them..

We just bought our second My Ride 65 and we love it. We have our first one in a Toyota Corolla and our second will be going in a Ford Fusion. We have had the first one for a year and we have had no issues. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of how big it is and because it is very hard to install. Other than that, we love it and are very satisfied.

I am very pleased with my purchase, i needed a carseat with more comfort for my little girl.. In our previous seat, she has screamed. When I put her in this one, she sat back and relaxed and fell right to sleep!!!! I am very pleased.. I drive a 2001 Lexus ES300 and it fits perfectly forward facing without any difficulty.. I havent tried the rear facing but i dont see any problems with that way either.. I really recommend this car seat to anyone, as well I noticed that covers are sold for this so if you wanted to dress it up you would be able to! Thanks GRACO for a great seat!
