Bought the Meep for my 7 year old son. He loves it. Once I got through the set up ( I finally read the start guide) it works great. He likes to play the games more than surf the web and it has all of the games he wants. Very well thought out system for parental controls too. I highly recomend it.

So first let me just say I never leave reviews but I felt it was necessary to leave one for this horrible tablet.

Let's start with the GOOD...The tablet had an awesome parent watch aspect to it. Whatever your child does is basically visable to you. This would be the ONLY good thing about the MEEP! tablet.

The BAD...Where to begin. Okay, When you first get the MEEP! it has 2 updates that you must perform in order for it to function. In order to use the Google Play app you have to use it remotely from another tablet or computer. Once you got to the parent website, you click a link to make it come up on the MEEP! So I found this inconvienent when you are away with your child and want to buy or download a new app. Next, you cannot customize the home screen with any photos or widgets or even shortcuts to apps, that was annoying having to keep scrolling through the little app wheel that they put on the right side of the screen. THE MEEP HAD MANY OTHER ISSUES AS WELL BUT IF I LIST THEM ALL WE WOULD BE SITTING HERE ALL DAY! This is an android tablet that just isnt worth the time and aggravation.

The UGLY!!! This tablet constantly went black, the screen was always doing its own thing and when I needed it to work it never did!

Just so you know all this was happening before I even gave it to my 5 year old as a bday gift. I thought maybe it was just a glitch and it would iron itself out before his birthday so I decided to wrap it up and let him enjoy it anyway...well, that was a bad idea! He had just opened it and we left his school to go home. By the time I got 10 minutes from the school he was in the backseat sooo frustrated and in tears. We didnt even get home, I went straight to the store for my refund and had had this tablet for a total of 7 days. I ended up getting a much better kid's tablet for my son which he loves very much!

JUST SAY NO TO THE MEEP!

      For the price of it, you might as well just buy a regular tablet. This picture quality is horrible. The graphics on some of the games are like playing old Atari. The thing is so restricted, the kids practically need parental permission just to turn it on! My kids got so board with it so fast, not to mention frustrated at how slow it is. Don't buy it.

        Horrible buy! Got this for my daughter this past Christmas and it still does not work properly! Need more info just go to their Facebook page where you will find other angry parents! I'm shocked Toys r us is still carrying this!

                Don't like the fact that it was so hard to even update or set up the meep pad if I knew it was going to be this difficult to use orset up I wouldn't have got it then u go on site and its saying check back later we having problems with ntwork

                    Has been a horrible experience. I had to return one of the Meeps within 45 days of the two purchased. I reordered another one to replace it from Toy R Us online because the store was out, since then, however The replacement and the other Meep is not working. The timeframe to return to the store is up therefore I will have to go thru the manufacturer.

                          My 7 yr old son LOVES his Meep. It's great in the car, at sleepovers and anytime. It has tons of games already downloaded and lots more that can be downloaded via the internet. There are educational things and just for fun things to do with the Meep. Even I play on it sometimes when he's gone to school.

                              I purchased the Meep for my 9 yr. old for Christmas. From Christmas to the day it was returned to Toys R Us it was nothing but problems. Several attempts were made to go online to set it up so she could access most of the activities which required Internet. Then the screen became staticky, then completely black after two days. Needless to say, this was very upsetting to my daughter. The cost of the Meep is astronomical for its lousy performance.

                                      registering this product and downloading apps is a joke! if you don't know what google chrome or safari is, you'll never log on to the parent site because you have to use one of the two html sites to get in. to top it off, support is only available monday thru friday 8a to 4p est.I work and don't have time to seat down on the phone with support.
