I bought this on a whim for my daughter for xmas. Of course I was at the store and hadn't read any reviews on it. When we opened the box we were missing the roller and of course I would've had to return it to get another one with all of the pieces. I decided that was too much work with two little ones. The quality of the table is very cheaply made....the legs buckle and the chair is very hard to push down to make the hair grow....therefore the table buckles every time. It's also very low to the ground so it makes adult/child play very uncomfortable. I would not recommend this to anyone!

I just got this and it is/does exactly what it says it is/does. One reviewer mentioned missing parts-- there is a roller that is pictured with the set on the box, but that item is NOT listed in the box contents (and, indeed, is not in the box). Weird advertising, yes, but missing, technically no. Otherwise my 2 year old loves the set. I put some velcro on the bottom of the waffle maker so it would stay on the table but come off for cleaning, because the only attached part is the barber chair. The table is also VERY small-- my 2 year old prefers to kneel and play with it. I'd call this purchase a win.

I have been unhappy with Toys R US as a compnay for the past couple years and here is yet another example. In the picture on the box (and every other picture online of this item) if you look in front of the barber chair, there is a red and green dough roller on the picture. This item is not listed on the contents list. So which is right, the picture or the contents list? I believe it is an old picture and it isn't supposed to come with it. I checked several other boxes and they didn't have that item included either. However, I brought this to several employees attention only to be given the "I'm sorry" response. I can't believe the quality control department would let this get by. Also, regular Play Doh cans do not fit in the table legs, only the mini Imaginarium cans. Terrible job on this product.

The packaging was fine and in tact but there were parts missing. Unfortunately, I read the only review after I had already bought it. I thought it might be a fluke but low and behold Christmas morning saw missing parts. I'm glad I bought it on sale too.

Cute idea but a cheap product. Careless packaging as it was missing parts when we opened it. The dough dries out much more quickly than the more popular play dough. I'm glad I bought it on sale.
