I would have given it a 5 star rating, but the trifold case caused or screen to break. If your child should fall while carrying the case and have the cartridge side hit the ground first it will break your screen. We had the trifold case inside with the unit. That side hit the ground and cause a tiny shatter from the corner of the case. That made the Pad unusable. You can no longer touch the screen and have it work. We are removing the trifold case because of that, but now my son will only be able to carry around 6 of his 8 games. We buy the cartridges so the 3 kids can share the games. Most importantly so when these units break it's not such a pain to get all the apps moved from one unit to the other. I do like the case because it keeps everything together. I just wish they would have added more of the elastic pockets and not included the case thing.

I love this case. It fit's my son's LeapPad2 with the gel cover on with NO problem. Love the cartridge storage. Also, my son has the blue gel cover on the green LeapPad, so it looks really nice and color-coordinated. It would have been nice to have maybe an outside pocket, but overall, great product!

I like that my son can carry it. It is great for travel. I just wish it had a little more room. It is easy for children to use. I would reccomend it to everyone.

We like the fact there is a place to put cartridges in the case and also an additional storage box, but the carrying case doesn't have a "spot" that fits the Explorer GS or strap to hold it and thus it slides around as you try to zip it shut. Since the case is barely big enough to hold the wider GS model, when the unit slips it is almost impossible for our 5 year old grandson to zip it closed. We have to get it 'just right" to shut it.

I ordered this product for my son because he is so into being organized. He needs a place for his games and his leap pad to be bundled because he has lost one of his favorite games due to not having a nice accessory organizer. The only problem I see is there needs to be storage for the headphones.

This is a nice case, however I don't have any cartridges for the Leappad yet, not sure if I ever will because I put a lot of extras on in the beginning, I bought this for the Leappad thinking I could keep the power cord for the rechargable pack in this, however with the Leappad in it the power cord doesn't fit. It's only able to hold the Leappad and cartridges, nothing else.

this is very well built and is large enough to store everything we need in it...it is hard for a toddler to put the games in and out so he just tosses them into the bag...but still works very well!

This case is adequate in my opinion. I would have liked another elastic/mesh pocket on the outside for headphone storage. I like the trifold box for additional games but it would be nice if it snapped or had Velcro to secure it to the inside spine of the case. The leapad is very hard to get in and out of the pocket if you have a gel skin. Also a detachable shoulder strap would be great. Having said that, it does its job pretty well and seems the best of the options provided.

After reading other reviews on the different cases available, I decided on this one. I had purchased the gel skin and the leap pad fits in this case with the gel skin on, unlike what others had to say about the other popular carrying case. We have mostly apps downloaded on to our child's leap pad, so we don't have the need for a lot of cartridge storage space. Overall great case for the price.
