Comments about Toys R Us 1001325 Animal Planet Safari House Playset:

My mother purchased this for my 3 yr old daughter. She loves it. The house is a good size and fits all the items from the playset inside of it. My daughter loves the animals that came with the set. My complaints are that the carnivores all have red eyes, making them look unrealistic. The "pond" for the hippo is also rather shabby - just a thin plastic shell. The scale of the animals is also a little off (example - the lions are as big as the elephants). However, to my three year old, this set is great and I love that clean up is easy.

My son begged for this for Christmas (3.5 years old) and I was nervous that the animals would not stand up independently, but they do. The doors and windows to the little house open and shut, which makes imaginative play more fun. My only complaint is that the roof to the house does not snap on in a raised position as pictured. We set the roof aside while playing. And although it advertises that you can "store" all the pieces inside the house, they really do not all fit. And I am a little concerned about my younger son being around the two little people figures because they are so small.
