Big disappointment for the grandkids

I ordered Elmo through the mail, and when he arrived, he did not work. I took him back to a store, but alas, all the toy doctors and nurses could not get Elmo...Read complete review

I ordered Elmo through the mail, and when he arrived, he did not work. I took him back to a store, but alas, all the toy doctors and nurses could not get Elmo to work again. Even though the store employees searched diligently, of course there were no replacement Elmos availalbe in Western New York, so the grandkids did not get to meet Elmo for Christmas. On the plus side, the refund experience was good. No hassle at all.

My daughter got this as a gift when she was 18 mos old and is now almost 23 mos. She loved this toy from the moment we took it out of the box. We have had no issues with it not working. It did take her a bit to figure out how to make it work (squeezing the foot), but other than that once you squeeze the foot, it's sensitive to her touch and works well. The only con is that I do think it is a little bit pricey.
