The Britax B-SAFE™ 30 Accessory Base works in conjunction with the B-SAFE™ 30 Infant Car Seat (item# 167220 & 167255) to provide industry leading front, rear and side impact protection to manage crash forces and minimize injury. Engineered to self-guide the car seat into the proper locked position, the base also features premium push-button LATCH connectors, a built-in lock-off and a 5 position height adjustment feature. The B-SAFE™ Accessory Base is easy to install and use correctly each and every time.

I bought this product as a gift for my son so it would be easy to put the carseat in his car too. We went to a store in the Seattle area. I was disappointed they did not have it in stock. I ordered on line and it was not available for store pick in my area or his. The only option was to ship. Thank goodness it was free shipping. However, a popular item like this should be readily available.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
