I use the swing to put my daughter in when need to shower or just get some stuff done. I love the print of the swing and that is why I purchased it but am really unhappy with the motor. The motor is very loud and annoys me. I had my daughter in the swing sleeping so I tried to lay down and take a nap but I couldn't because the motor was so noisy and hard to tune out.

If I knew ahead of time how noisy the motor is I would have reconsidered purchasing this style swing.

Got this swing for my daughter the week after she was born, at first it was a lifesaver since she would only sleep in the swing...but after only 4 months it just died. Was not happy but fisherprice was awesome and they are sending me a new one in the next week for free! Hopefully this one will last longer.

Awesome swing. Baby girl lovvvveess it. She swings the day away and is 2 weeks old. Lays down all the way for newborn comfort. Nice and soft and comfy. Quiet motor. Mobile is even quiet. GREAT JOB FISHER PRICE!!!

The swing arrived on time and is more beautiful in person. After putting it together and testing to make sure everything worked it was great. Fast forward 2 weeks later once the baby is born we used it one time. The 2 position seating only stayed in one position. Big disappointment with a newborn who would rather recline than sit up... I want to order again but afraid the same thing might happen

My daughter loves this swing. she has since the day she came home! She naps alot in it. swings side to side and back and forth...great music she easily falls asleep to. & she enjoys looking at the flowers that twirl around. also love that i can plug it into the wall instead of going thru a bunch of batteries!! Recommend this product for sure!

My 1 month old loves it!! it is very sofy, roomy and cozy. The color is perfect for a baby girl. Love love love this product. I returned my Graco and purchased this one..............way better.

I got this swing as a baby shower gift. When we put it together we noticed that this swing was rather loud but we wait till the baby came home thinking it would get worn in after she swang in it for a while but insted the motor gave out. So I called and they sent me a new one that did the exact same thing. It would hardly move no matter what speed you put it on and made a grinding noise. I'm now on my 3rd motor and I really hope this one works cause I really love this swing otherwise.

This swing is probably one of the best purchases we've made thus far, for our baby girl. Not only is it absolutely adorable, but the functionality of it is impeccable. At first we didn't want to be one of 'those parents' who got everything girly, but after seeing it, we couldn't resist! It's ridiculously soft all over and has soft colors --perfect for baby. The cover of the seat comes off so it can be washed. It cradles her perfectly all around -unlike some swings that seem more like chairs, this is like a little baby cup. It has a gushy little head pillow for her comfort, and adjustable straps. There's a little mobile with a mirror in the middle. When she was finally old enough to see it, this became her favorite entertainment. And there's nothing cuter than seeing your baby 'talking' to her reflection. True to the description there are three different positions for the seat (forward facing, or facing each side) that are switchable with a single button; and two reclining positions (more sitting up, or laying down for little naps). This swing has TONS of tones to play, from music, to nature, to water, to bird calls -all with adjustable volume. And while the music will eventually stop, it only does so after about 20 minutes, so you don't have to run back and forth putting it back on every few mins. There are 6 different swing speeds - though personally, I've never had to put it past '3', since it's perfect speed for my little girl. When you set the swing up, it appears to take up a bit of space, but it doesn't. The legs make a circle, and the space it takes up is sort of like a big sphere - but, they give it a lot of stability, which is something we were concerned with when shopping for a swing. I'd have to say the best feature though, that we were very hard-pressed to find with any other swing, is that it plugs in! Her bassinet had a similar sound /vibration machine on it, and after going through batteries by the dozen we knew, in the future, all her products needed to plug in. There is, of course, an option to use batteries, if you were bringing it along and didn't have a power source. The fact that it plugs in makes everything SO much easier. It not only saves a ton of money -which, as a parent, has become very important; but, it also saves us the trouble of a cranky baby who wants to go in her swing but we're out of batteries. All in all I would definitely recommend this swing, or it's counterpart (the boy version) to any and all new parents/grandparents. It's so comfortable for baby, and now that she's around 4 months, she prefers to take her naps in it while mommy does work and chores. Just having a few moments to yourself, and knowing that your little one is snuggled up and happy is amazing. The one downside to this swing -they don't come in adult size. :(
