This was a huge waste of money and a major disappointment. The dough tasted terrible, the pops never set up in the fridge and they all fell off the stick when you tried to frost them. Don't waste your money on a terrible product.

the only good thing about it was that the batter and the icing tasted good. The pops ALWAYS fall of whever you frost them. Never buy it, and if you did return it, or sell it on ebay or craiglist.

I bought this for my 9 year old, who had always wanted one. It went together easily enough. I thought that the cups didn't fill all the way but they expanded in the fridge. The icing was a bit of a mess and the cute shapes they show on the side aren't easily achieved. But then came the flavor...play dough. If you want cake pops that taste like play dough, you found it....yuck!

this is an amazing product and my daughter wanted this for christmas and we all made cake pops and my daughter enjoyed their cake pops and wanted to keep on making cake pops. This is a that i would never stop buying.

My granddaughter was so excited to receive this for Christmas. We had the same problems others here have mentioned.There is no way the crank can hold up against the play-dough consistency of the "cake". The dispenser would burst opent at first crank attempt. We managed to make 3 ball shaped blobs of the nasty tasting mix, and one actually stayed on the stick long enough to frost. Does NOT taste good, at all. I returned it.

My 7 yr old daughter wanted this so very badly for Christmas. She opened it up that evening to make cake pops for the family. I put it together and assisted her with the process. Sadly, the plastic is poorly constructed and came apart as soon as the handle was turned. After numerous reassembles, the thrill on my daughter's face was gone. I should have taken it back to the store. But, instead it sits cast aside from disappointment. I went out and bought a real cake pop pan and now we make them the old fashioned way :)

Don't waste your money on this item. Your kids will be disappointed and you'll be frustrated.

I gave this product to my daughter for Christmas. She was very excited to use it. We were quickly dissappointed. The batter is thick and doesn't fill pop cups all the way. It also tasted horrible. She almost puked trying to eat one. The frosting is messy and tasted bad. I am returning this tomorrow to the store and getting my money back.

This was a must have on my 6 year old's X-Mas list.
Pros
* Looks nice and easy to assemble
* Directions are easy enough my daughter can do them herself after doing it with me the first time
* Fun to decorate
Cons
* Cake fell apart and off of stick while decorating
* If you get icing in some places, it is hard to clean
* My daughter's all threw away their cake pop's stating "they taste like playdough" (yes, I'm sure they know lol)
* They used this toy once (after begging to have it and use it), refused to eat them, and have never asked to use it again :(

Was hard to use- the crank broke and I had to try and squish the dough into the mold myself- Icing was too sweet and cake mix was doughy textured and terribly awful tasting- I do not recommend.
