          We bought this remote controlled car for our 2.5yr old son for Christmas. He was so excited when he opened it! He used it for a short time (maybe 10mins total) on Christmas day and it seemed okay. However, in the days since Christmas the batteries seem to die just from sitting in the car. We play with it for a few minutes and then go back to play and the batteries are dead either in the car or the remote. We also realised that you have to point the remote directly at the car and stay within 1-2 feet for it to work and therefore have to run along beside it when operating it! We chose this particular car because it was recommended for smaller children than most other remote controlled cars. My son was able to work it fine but I wish we would have picked out a different car. I'm sure he would have been able to figure out how to work the remote and perhaps the car would have been better quality.

                My son received this as a gift. It was nearly impossible to unpackage (I guess that's usual nowadays though). Once finally opened, the car sounded like it was broken; something rattled around inside the car. We put in batteries and it only sort of works. Disappointing.
