The V-Tech Innotab 2S is perfect for my 2 year old daughter. We wanted something durable that held all her movies and music. She is a little young for the games still, but really enojoys the painting and pictures. It is great to keep the little ones occupied while out or in the car too. Also what a great value, the tablet, case and headphones - Can't beat it!

My only suggestion would be to stock up on batteries. Maybe the next version should come with a rechargeable lithium battery?

i was searching for a tablet for educational/entertainment games and apps for my 4 yr old. I thought this would be perfect, she loves playing on my tablet and smart phone, and i thought this would be comparable but more kid-tough. I pre-ordered it and recieved it within a week of the release date. I also purchased the ac adapter. Well, that was worthless because there is no built in battery, so the ac adapter is only for sitting beside a wall outlet and playing while plugged in. So be prepared to buy batteries in bulk. When i opened it to set it up i realized that while cute, it is not built tough at all, just plain old toy plastic with rubber bumpers on the corners. The headphones seemed fairly thin and fragile. The cover on the girly one is a satin fabric, which in my experience would snag and stain very easily. The software seemed very slow and and the touch screen wasn't at all sensitive. I tried out the preloaded apps and was pretty frustrated, so i can imagine that a kid who has previously played with an adult's tablet or phone would be too. I decided this wasn't the product for us and took it back to the store, for the price i can upgrade to a real tablet that runs more smoothly and a durable cover to protect it. I wanted to love this but was disappointed, sorry v-tech, it's way to simplified for my preferences. And thanks to my local store for taking it back without a hassle!

My girls received this as a Christmas gift in 2012. The five-year-old loves it, and the two-year-old seems to enjoy it as well. We got her the Mobigo2, and she seems much more into it. We love the Innotab2 because it's easy to bring along on long trips, or appointments where we know we'll be waiting for a while. We like the variety of games, but wish there were more games already downloaded... especially for the price. The headphones are already broken, but I somewhat expected them to have a short life! The Innotab2 has a great screen size and it's touch screen works fairly well. It's no ipad, but my daughter has learned the tricks of how to make it work.

I did lots of research between this and the LeapPad. I chose this because it was such a great deal with the bundle and I could add memory. My friend got the Leapad for her kids and they really love it. My girls have played with it and enjoy it. Overall, I don't have regrets because my daughter does use it quite a bit!

Oh, GET THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES!!! If you don't, you will spend a small fortune in batteries! Seriously, spend the extra $20. I got mine at a box store after we went through two sets of batteries in two weeks, and am so thankful I did.

It's a great console and it has lots of space for game, videos and more but i don't like that it doesn't come with a charger. instead i have to buys a bunch of expensive batteries.

If i would have known that the camera was not very good on this device i would have spent $50 dollars more and bought my daughter a regular tablet. The online apps you can download are not free you have to purchase. The games are a bit pricy. I think that this tab should be cheaper for what is capable of doing.

I bought this for my grandaughter fro Christmas and she wont put it down I now am shopping for 5 more all my other grand children want them for birthhdays, and it keeps her occupied on road trips and doctor visits they spend a lot of time in dr offices not to mention it is a great learning toy she is reading at a higher level.

IT is a good deal. Wifi is useless for a 3 YO. The main problem is that it is very hard to get the screen to accept the touch, and when it finally does, it chooses something that is not what you are touching.
The little pens got lost within the first few weeks. Since the pen isnt attached o anything, no strings or landyard, kids loose them.
My daughter likes the games, but gets very frustrated with the touch screen issue.

This is an absolutely awesome tablet for my 4 year old! Works well, and is very child user friendly. I only have 1 complaint. The only available downloads are from vtech. I would love to have the option of getting the games my daughter enjoys on my smartphone on her tablet for her.

Great product.. My six year old daughter loves it.. Great learning experience for her around the house or on the go... she takes it everywhere.. I get to choose the books and learning games the the awesome Learning Lodge Navigator.. games are inexpensive and many to choose from...if i had more than one child, all would have an innotab. games, music, math, books, science, you name it.. it's there to learn.. i would tell any parent with a kid to purchase this item...
